Everything was a smooth process and the host communications were concise and consistent. The site was clean and offered easy access to the resort hotel and local amenities. Nice and quiet for nearly a full week in the winter.

We chose this condo for three reasons. #1 was that it had a fireplace where we planned to sit and enjoy the ambience but we weren't allowed to use it and it seemed broken. #2 was the quiet beautiful views out the windows where were great. #3 is location which was fine.

I had planned a 'staycation' with my daughter & liked the location of this condo. The unit was dated. There was a stale odor upon arrival either from smoking or the carpet needed to be deep cleaned. The coffee pot 'please clean' light was on and the light over the stove in the microwave was burned out. The fireplace was nonfunctional. There was no heat in the bathrooms, and I had to step over the toilet to get into the shower. The most frustrating aspect was the faulty lock on the entrance door. We ended up locking it from the inside and exiting via the patio...having to leave the unit open. Thus, we had to lock valuable in the car every time we went out. The manager, Riley, was responsive & polite but ineffective. He said he would notify maintenance about the various issues. Given the circumstances, we decided to check out a day early and just go home. I requested a refund for that last day but was denied. It's sad that this business operates this way. This is the first negative experience that I have had with a VRBO property.

Super cute clean home away from home. Wish we could have spent more time in the unit aw we were busy with family obligations. But when we returned each night, it felt comfortable coming to the condo.

Very nice condo with a good amount of amenities. I would rate this as 4.5 — the only reason for not rating this as a five star is there is an AC unit that nicely cools the common areas, but the bedrooms got a little stuffy. There are tall fans in both closets which helped rectify that situation. The smaller bathroom could use a little more elbow grease around the outside of the shower door. The checkout was great — no need to do a bunch of chores before leaving (although we did try to take care of a few things before we left). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! One thing to keep in mind — the unit numbers were not sequential. It took us a few minutes to realize this but hopefully this info will help the next group who decides to stay in this unit.

Keep up mechanics

No heat in main living area since the batteries in the thermostat were dead. I was able to diagnose problem and fix myself, but seems owner would check something this basic.

Overall, the property was nice. The master bathroom shower was very small. A larger person would have a tough time using it. Would have been nice to have a rug or boot tray inside the door. We had melting snow and salt all over the hallway. Made for quite a mess.

Great Location

The location of this condo was great and easy to get to for everything we needed to do. Host was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. As others have siad the one bathroom shower is very tiny. They were not kidding. You can hardly turn around in it. But as long as you are aware ahead of time it worked fine. Condo was a little dusty in places. You could see where someone had done a quick wipe to make it look good, but if sun hit just right you could definetly tell it had been missed. Mattress on beds could be replaced as the one seems to have a "hole" in it. As in you lay on it and you will roll to the middle. Overall, it was a great place and I would recommned to anyone.

Cute condo, nice patio and short drive to downtown. Clean condo, good assortment of kitchen items and bathroom fully stocked.Bathrooms need updating, but are clean. To small for 6ft people. Loved our stay

The property is as presented, though a little dated. It would have been helpful to know that access to one shower requires to climb over the tub. Shower #2 is quite small-no bending or turning. Property could use some drywall repair where door knobs have pushed thru

Excellent little condo

This condo is in a perfect location, especialy for those having events near Acme, Williamsburg or Elk Rapids. Very quiet end unit. Communication was excellent. Very clean with nice furniture and comfortable beds.

Great Location, Great Value

The place is nice, in a perfect location to access Traverse City, Elf Rapids, Elk Lake and Torch Lake. It's just 15 minutes from the Torch Lake access that we used. The property is a little dated, but is in very good shape. The bedrooms, kitchen, and great room are perfect for a family of 5. The bathrooms and their showers are a small and not easy to maneuver people and their stuff. My only complaint was there is no screen on the front door, so it's a bit too easy to let in bugs as we would come and go.

Clean Stay

The condo was as described in the listing. The check-in was easy and there was no check out process other than to leave. In reading the reviews of others I could tell the host paid attention and made some upgrades using the suggestions.

over looking dust

no air conditioning in bedrooms just 1 unit in living room so we found some fans in a bedroom closet. took fans out and they were white because of so much dust. we had to take fans outside and clean with a broom. it got most of it clean. I have allergies to dust so we had to clean them our selves in order to stay there. there was also a hair tie on floor in one bedroom and a sock on floor in other bedroom. perhaps cleaning too fast when vaccuming. used fans to draw cool air in hallway towards bedrooms

Family get away

Property was very clean and neat, just wish there was more than one air conditioner as it got a bit stuffy in the bedrooms at night. Overall a nice place to stay for the 4 of us.
