  • La Luna is set in the beautiful Texas Hill Country with amazing views and lots of privacy. This secluded cabin features an updated outdoor space with a bed swing and fire pit, private hot tub, beautiful décor and comfy beds! Located just 3.5 miles from downtown Wimberley, there's plenty to do. Whether it's playing in one of the local swimming holes, enjoying live music, visiting a local brewery or winery, or bringing home souvenirs from local shops, there is never a shortage of fun activities here! For a romantic evening, enjoy a fire, soak in the hot tub under the stars, or cuddle up on the bed swing with a glass of vino from a local winery!

As soon as we arrived on site OH EM GEEEE! The house - so cute! The swing bed outside, and hot tub were our fav. There is a memory book guests could sign, and let others know where they visited and what restaurants were recommended with amazing food. I was really grateful for that because it sure did help with choosing out of so many places! My husband and I celebrated our second year of marriage here, the memories will always be cherished!

La Luna cabin was wonderfully secluded yet close to town to be able to get groceries easily, check out the shops, and go on nature trails. The cabin is cozy and just incredible!

Romantic Getaway

La Luna Cabin was just as advertised. Amazing views, wonderful amenities and oh so comfy bed! My wife and I truly enjoyed every minute of our time here and can’t wait to return.

Red Bird Cabin (La Luna)

If you want cozy, romantic, laid-back, relaxing, scenic and secluded… This is it!When you stay here you will completely understand how fitting the “red bird cabin” is!!!You will not regret this stay. There are so many different places to see and do and all are relatively close to the cabin.**Highly recommend!**

If you want to feel "away from it all" but also only minutes from good restaurants, this is your cabin! The cabin had everything you want and lots of privacy.

We had a great stay. The location is quiet. The view is great! The hot tub— hot! The swing- fun! The cardinals pecking at the windows was entertaining.

Peace and quiet

A peaceful stay under the stars, enjoyed the swing bed thoroughly, cottage was very comfortable, private and had everything we needed. Proximity to town was perfect. Hosts were terrific.

I loved the cabin and the care you all took with the extra touches. The property is truly beautiful and the bed swing was awesome.

Pro: The area is secluded and the views are perfect. The cabin is surrounded by trees and definitely provides a cabin in the woods vibe. I came to try to see the meteor shower but unfortunately, it rained most of the trip. However, I enjoyed getting to use the fireplace as the temperature dropped. The outdoor space was wonderful and the jacuzzi worked great. I loved seeing deer out and about in the daylight, as well as all the birds, including the cardinals that showed up each morning. I really enjoyed walking around the property and all of the parks in the area. Con: I did not like the narrow one-lane bridge you have to cross to get the the property. It should have guardrails. The water filter needed to be changed and beeped the entire night during the first night. Luckily, with the help of the host it was fixed. Lastly, there were a lot of rules; keep pets on leash, don't let pets on furniture, don't pop fire crackers, no firearms, don't use too much water, don't turn the jacuzzi up higher, don't go off the property, don't move the furniture, take out the trash before going, turn everything off before leaving, clean all the dishes before leaving, don't leave any food, don't use a lot of toilet paper, don't bring the grey towels outside only the colorful ones, don't use too much firewood in the fireplace, no smoking, no illegal substances, no parties, no loud noises, etc. It was a bit much for a cabin in the woods.

Lovely little cabin

Property was clean, accurate to listing, very private and I just loved it. The cardinal in the am is hilarious, i named him Roosevelt and scolded him and hed just fly into the trees and sing to me, I was enamoured. I'll be back for sure, well worth it!

My family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. I loved the small dirt road to get to the cabin. It was easy to find and the location was perfectly private. Saw some deer out front and the sweet red bird in the mornings.

The place is great with amazing views. There’s a cardinal that knocks on the windows in the mornings. I would definitely go back, took my girlfriend, and she loved the place.

Staying here was a great experience. The hot tub was fantastic for some cigars and deep conversation with the boys. The view and patio setup was a sight to behold. Downtown was just close enough to keep you engaged in the city but, far enough away to feel private. Definitely my new quick getaway destination!
