“Great, nice and close to town. Super clean .warm and it was a godsend with the cold weather. Was there for work. Will definitely re book if visiting the area again.”

“Lovely home to stay at to be local to Bowral and Berrima.Quiet area, perfect for pets.”

“The house was clean and well fitted out. Comfortable beds.”

“We loved the property. It is very clean and cosy. The owner clearly looks after it well. Great location for walking into the centre of Bowral. Charging the car overnight was a bonus.”

“What a shame !!!! The unit was actually very nice, and close to everything. The problem was how unmaintained it was. The floor was not vacuumed, and there were food scraps everywhere. The bathrooms had less than half a roll of toilet paper with no spare rolls. The kitchen had no sponge to be able to wash up. The main shower was not draining the water properly, and water would spill out. We called to tell them the problems and were told to plunge the shower ourselves (with no plunger available),...

“We had such a wonderful stay at the Retreat. It is a beautiful cottage with everything you need. Cosy and well appointed with gorgeous bedding and a kitchenette. The garden is full with f quaint touches and plenty of birdlife. Close to Bundanoon Pub where we met friends for lunch. Lovely hosts. Perfect weekend.”

“There was no reception and no wifi available despite what the listing says. We had to book another place as I needed to check into work. Owner was very dismissive of the problem Also he sent us the wrong pin so sent us on a 30 minute round trip. Spider webs and hair were in the shower/bedroom and there’s no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Couldn’t open the window as so many spiders just outside the window ”

“I have stayed in many type premises. I have never stayed in a property where nothing was skimped. Everything was top notch. When we turned up the BBQ was in poor shape. 15 minutes later a Brand new BBQ was delivered. Incredible service and what a great property, Highly recommended.”

“The property was as described and a comfortable size for our group. The fire pit and lovely view from the backyard deck were the highlights along with the pool table.”

“We were recently in the Southern Highlands for our daughter's wedding and our extended family stayed at this beautiful property for 4 nights. What a fantastic stay! The entire property is lovely and the main house and cottage are perfect for group stays. The conservatory with its abundance of natural light, was the perfect place for the bride and bridesmaids to have their hair and makeup done. Very clean and had everything to make your stay welcoming. We loved having a drink in the evenings...

“Canary cottage was lovely the minute you drive down the driveway. Perfectly clean, bed comfy, linen excellent quality. Kitchen well appointed & extras such as plunger coffee, twinning's tea bags & Tea 2 tea an added bonus. The wood burner in the lounge room was so warm & cozy, as well as the floor ducted air con which kept the rest of the house warm. The large, mature garden was delightful to look out on to & wander around, loved watching the bunnies come out to graze! It was also so handy to...

“Lovely stay clean and nice. Needs clearer instructions on turning on the Fireplace, as the power switch is not near the fireplace. Keys have to be worked out, only works in front door, and can not lock Granny flat. Check in to late, but really it is a lovely place and would stay there again”

“This is a beautiful property. Having multiple lounge areas was great as even with 7 of us it was easy to find a quiet space. The bathrooms were really clean and modern and the underfloor heating in them was great. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the gardens were really beautiful.”

“The property was well equipped, warm and comfortable, except for the lounges which were low and hard to get out of. Beds were terrific, shower was excellent. There was a problem with ants in the kitchen which i reported to the agent. Overall, a pleasant stay over 4 nights.”

“We had a disappointing stay at this property. The house itself is ok, but the stay was let down by a lack of any attention to any detail. On arrival we found the garden was severely overgrown, with weeds well over our knee height, the kitchen cupboards and pots and pans were sticky and dirty, the glasses had lipstick stains on them and had to be washed before using, one room was empty of any furniture or furnishings apart from a built in cabinet and a tv...? The long life milk left in the fridge...

“The property was as advertised: clean, comfortable and relatively secluded, allowing our group some much needed down time, privacy and all the necessary amenities. Handy for the local wineries and the charming township of Berrima. Thoroughly recommended for a long weekend away with good friends or the family.”

“Nothing in particular, except be aware that the rubbish bin is way too small for a large house and taking home any rubbish is not my idea of a holiday.”
