“Located 15mins from Matlock, this property is in an excellent quiet location. Beds comfortable, Hot Tub which was clean and perfect temperature the moment we arrived. Odd bit of maintenance Ive informed the owner about but did not affect our stay. Communication was constant throughout the stay answering questions we had almost instantly. Really nice touches like washing up liquid, condiments and small things you would not expect from a vrbo property. The games room which was a hit with my kids....

“Was ok for a stop over. The hallway had a rather musky smell. We had to contact host when we arrived to get details about how to check in but that wasn't obvious on the booking details.”

“We needed somewhere to break our journey back from Scotland and this was ideal for a family of four and not too far from the A1. We also chose it partly as it was dog friendly but a change of plan meant we didn’t actually have our dogs with us after all. But the provisions for visiting dogs were a nice touch. Also a welcome pack of milk, juice and biscuits f(for us) was well received.”

“From the moment we arrived our host “Kristie”,looked after us throughout our stay. The Stables were super clean and had lots of lovely touches that make a real difference to a short break. Hot tub was squeaky clean and crystal clear, robes, footwear, towels of great quality were provided too. We will be back and we highly recommend both the property and host, too marks 😀”
