“I am sorry to say that the property was not what I expected. The area to park in was chaotic with cars parked all over the place so when I arrived after a traumatic journey, I was trying to find a place to park in the pitch black with no lights apart from my car lights. The room was not hoovered. The ‘kitchenette’ was dangerous due to the curtains being close to the air fryer. The toilet seat was loose, broken. There was barely a hello from the owner and he watched as I struggled in the rain...

“Warm welcome from Rob and Sherrie, lovely chilled atmosphere. Room was lovely, had all you could want. Bed comfortable, slept well. Breakfast was delicious, sausage and bacon was truly tasty. Access via track, very deep holes in a couple of places, but this wouldn’t stop us and would recommend, great location for Welsh Botanic Garden. ”

But at 8:30pm I had a message saying I wouldn't be able to check in after 9 as the bar shuts at that point. I was on a train so unable to get there for that time, and somebody very kindly stayed to let me in, but they still...
