Great house with gated parking. It’s in a great location and only a short drive to York city centre. I would definitely stay there again.

Fawcett Cottage was exactly as seen in the pictures.
Benefits were having off street parking to the right of the cottage and a bus stop less than a 10 minutes walk to get into York.
Great that it had an enclosed garden for our dog and a couple of dog poop bins within a few minutes walk either side of the cottage. Beds were very comfortable and all appliances worked. There isn’t anything to complain about.
The Sidings restaurant and hotel does amazing food as does the Chinese restaurant The New Inn in Huby a short drive from the cottage.
The village shop has such an array of goods that you’d need a trolley rather than a basket. The Yorkshire pasty was amazing.
We’d definitely come back.
