“Our stay at Cochecton was undoubtedly one of the best we’ve had. It was the perfect winter wonderland getaway. When we weren’t outside watching our dog frolic through the snow, we were inside staying warm and cozy. There was no shortage of things to do. We played board games, listened to records, watched some of our favorite movies on vhs, and even took naps! Can you believe it? Naps! As in more than one nap! “It is what it is. I am way too old to be doing that style of camping anymore. Just not for me. There was a lot of communication when I booked but haven't heard anything since. I didn't realize some of the things when I booked it.I guess I didn't read or it wasn't there.I don't know. But that hike in and out kinda sucked! “I had family in from out of town, I set up the rental for them, the house was clean, comfortable bed per my family, pots/pans basic kitchen needs available, dishwasher, coffee maker, second TV in the bedroom (I’ve found places that don’t have one and it wasn’t listed as such, and that is a big negative for me) I would recommend this place to others and I will utilize again when the need arises. ”

“Rented the house with a three-generation family group for a long weekend to attend a wedding in a nearby town. We all loved the house…plenty of historic charm with modern comforts in kitchen and bathrooms, and a gorgeous setting. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch to read, chat or drink coffee with the sound of the rushing creek in the background, and had fun playing horseshoes, pool, and exploring the creek. “The RV is quite comfortable. We had all we needed. The hosts even bought us smores when we said we had forgotten to purchase them at the market. How sweet is that? The RV is located on the property next to the owner's home, which made us feel safe in an unknown area. Both the owner's home and RV however? are close enough to Hwy 17, that you can hear the traffic, BUT the hospitality of Mario and Harley far exceeded our expectations that the noise was of little consequence. :)”
