“Easy self check in. The room was very spacious with full bathroom and toiletries. Also had a hairdryer. The breakfast was excellent 👌 with plenty of choice which you ordered the night before. Staff were helpful and restocked the breakfast table with fruit, juice and yoghurt. I loved the fact that there were mugs on the tables, depicting the Wainwrights! Nice touch. Parking was a bit tight if you returned late, but for one night, it was fine. Would definitely stay again!”

“An amazing stay at the Dale Head Hotel! Beautiful location and well-manicured grounds to walk around. There is access to the lake from the property, but not easily - the path is a little over-grown. The Manager, Dale, was lovely and could not have been more helpful. We were there to hike Helvellyn, and he advised us that Swirls Car park (beginning of the hike) is easily accessed from the hotel by a woodland footpath, rather than the main road, or paying for the car park. “Stayed for 4 nights in this gorgeous cottage. Traditional looking but with modern facilities. Well stocked kitchen with a large fridge. The village is quiet & peaceful just outside of Keswick. The real bonus is the private garden with comfy sofas. Parking is tight but we did have a wide car & it was nice to have it on the driveway. Good communication and able to self check in. ”
