Fantástico y Luminoso Apartamento en el Corazón del Gótico a 10 Min. de la Playa

Estupendo apartamento de 70 m² con mucha luz natural que consta de 4 balcones exteriores, sala de estar-comedor con 1 confortable sofá cama doble, dos dormitorios dobles (uno de ellos en suite) cocina y 2 completos cuartos de baño con ducha.. El apartamento está en un edificio antiguo típico del barrio gótico. Ambos han sido recientemente reformados. La moderna y bonita decoración del apartamento combina perfectamente con el estilo antiguo del edificio. Al edificio se accede por la calle Ripoll pero el apartamento y la fachada principal dan a la Plaza dels Peixos (de los Peces). El apartamento es totalmente exterior con cuatro balcones que dan a la calle, es un 3º piso con mucha luz natural. En su rehabilitación se respetaron todos los elementos arquitectónicos originales. Parking público muy cerca del apartamento (Avinguda de la Catedral). El edificio donde está ubicado el apartamento está justo al lado de la catedral gótica de Barcelona, a sólo 500 metros del puerto y de sus playas adyacentes. Por su situación única no es necesario utilizar ningún tipo de transporte, estando a 5 minutos caminando de las Ramblas y la Plaça Catalunya. La mayoría de museos y atracciones más importantes son accesibles a pie, no obstante las lineas principales de Bus y Metro se encuentran justo al lado del apartamento. No dispone de ascensor como la mayoría de edificios antiguos del barrio Gótico.

Un lugar fabuloso, muy comodo, cerca de muchos sitios de interés, muy limpio y muy colaboradora las personas encargadas de administrarlo. Definitivamente lo usaría de nuevo.

Our middle son was spending the semester in Barcelona and we joined for a few days. This was a great location and lovely little apartment. I would note that this is a third floor walkup and the stairs are steep/narrow. If you have a lot of luggage or a bad knee, might look for an apartment on lower floor. Beds were great, shower pressure was great, A/C worked well as did the wifi.

Gros problème nous etions au 3 ieme etage 60 marches…avec les valises!!! Il serait important de le spécifier car pour nous ce fut un problème…mon mari a des problèmes de motricité et en pkus monter nos bagages pas facile!!!

The apartment is in a very good location, with either close walks...or taxis nearby for the many things further away.It was very clean, spacious, and bright ! We had one maintenance problem, but the host fairly quickly took care of it. We were aware of the check -in being at a different location, beforehand....but it does require 2 taxi trips...one to get there and another to get to the apartment. We were also aware it did not have an elevator, but the many many many steps up a long winding curved staircase with ( heavy ) luggage , made it quite tricky and tiring for us over 60 ish folks . We recommend the apartment for a lovely stay , with helpful hosts.

Perfect location for exploring the city! Apartment is exactly as it appears in the listing and is nice. Beds are comfortable and 2 baths a big plus. Communication was good and check in easy. The only negatives are: 4 flights of narrow stairs to the apartment. This is normal in most of Europe . If you have mobility issues or stairs are difficult then this isn’t for you. Yes, you will have street noise going on until very late. Again normal in a big city. Close the shutters for a little help but highly recommend downloading a sound app and using at night to drown out the noise. I’m sensitive to noise at night but didn’t have a problem due to using the sound ap. Highly recommended this apartment.

The place was very clean, very well organized, felt like home for our 3 party family. Took some getting used to initially because of the layout, but we felt right at home very quickly. The large windows were nice, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. We loved the quiet neighborhood at night, the convenient distance to all the shopping and dining areas, the overall experience was very positive. The only downside is, there are no elevators in the building and the stairs are narrow and steep, so if you have large luggage, it can be challenging if you’re staying on a higher floor like we did. 3rd floor doesn’t seem like much, but with heavy bags and narrow turns, it can get daunting. Not that anyone can do anything about it, these older buildings don’t have the space for adding elevators into the structure.

Great location in Barcelona near the action, but off the main roads. Looks just like the pictures! Wasn't an issue for us, but note that there is no elevator and it is on the 4th floor. It was clean and had everything we needed. Check in was a 5-10min cab away and took only 5 mins. Communication from the rental company was great.

advertised as two bedroom , two bath….but did not let you know the second bathroom was across the living room which made it difficult for any privacy for couple staying in that bedroom. It had air conditioning in master bedroom, but second bedroom guest had to sleep with door open to get air. Poor amenities. Not enough. (one paper towel roll, one dish towel ) Amenities could have much better…. Perfect quaint neighborhood ……

The Apartment was in a great location and very spacious for European apartment. I stayed for 30 days would not suggest a long stay. The Apartment is on 3rd floor so in Europe that’s 4 flights of winding narrow stairs no elevator. The area was one of the loudest. I have stayed in 39 countries and the noise level until super late then again early made sleeping almost impossible. The apartment had an inadequate refrigerator and a tiny freezer. The TV’s were basically the size of a iPad screen with no ability to connect to WiFi or stream. The kitchen was basic with very little room to prepare food, the eating table was a high top and difficult to sit at. The AC did not cool second bedroom at all.

This apartment had everything we needed for our weekend in Barcelona. Awesome location, and all the amenities in the apartment that made our stay comfortable. We would Look forward to staying here again if we return to Barcelona

THERE ARE NO STAIRS IN THIS BUILDING. We were not aware of this and had to climb up lots of flights each time and with our luggage. The place itself is not very clean and modern. The coffee filter was completely dirty and the noise level outside was a bother. I didn’t find the place to be worth what we paid for it, personally.

This apartment was absolutely perfect for our group of three when visiting Barcelona. Check-in and check-out were a breeze; we weren't expected to do any cleaning except to take our trash out to the dumpster just down the block. The apartment itself was more than enough space for us, and having the two separate bathrooms (including two separate laundry machines) was clutch. The location was incredible! We were able to walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go and there's no shortage of good food nearby.

Had a fantastic stay for 5 nights, right in the middle of so much. Apartment was clean and just perfect for the 3 of us. For those who might have an issue, there are many stairs up and down. Would recommend wholeheartedly for a trip to Barcelona!

Loved it. Everything is there to make us feel at home. Perfect place for 4 adults - loved the 2 separate washrooms. Was traveling with 2 seniors (+70) and I was happy they are in shape as the third floor was a little bit of a workout (think suitcases) but we all would love to come back. Close to the Hop-On / Hop-Off and Metro stations. You will not regret it but expect a small workout before enjoying comfortable beds and nice couch!

I loved the location, clealiness and plenty of space in the apartment. Narrow stairs to the 3rd floor didn’t bother me but it might be a hindrance to others, for your information.

Everything is great. It's spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, even two washer machines. Heater works well. It has everything we need and in a great location, plus it's quiet! Not easy to find a quiet place in Spain. The only downside might be it's on the 3rd floor with narrow stairs, no elevators, but it's fine for us. Will recommend this apartment.

Too many stairs. One cupboard was broken on arrival and one of the shower did not drain properly. The towels were yellowish. One of the toilet thank was cracked and a toilet paper holder needed fixing.

The whole process was so easy. The host arranged for our transfer from airport to apartment. We were able to drop off our luggage before check in time. Host responded quickly to questions. Neighborhood was perfect. Easy to walk to public transportation Space was great. 2 bed, 2 bath. Checkout equally easy. Only "chore" was to take out the trash.
