“The room was comfortable, particularly the bed, although we did find some broken plastic under the sheet, not sure where it came from. There was no hot water from the sink even after running the tap for a while and the cistern to the toilet kept running after it had filled up. Saying all of that we would probably stay again.”

“We booked family room for 4, the room had a made up double bed and a sofa which only had a duvet, no linen or pillows. Only 2 mugs for teas. On arrival we were told they didnt do breakfast which was included in our stay, the Landlord then cooked us croissants the night before to take to our room for the morning. “I’m struggling to see the value in this inn. We had a family room (four in one bedroom) but the bathroom was far too small for four of us. The shower was the width of a toilet cubicle. In fact the loo is right opposite the shower - nowhere near enough space. The basin is in the bedroom. I wouldn’t recommend this I’m afraid.”

“The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre.
