“This is an amazing find. The decor and atmosphere really stunning. The staff attitude and manner fantastic. Facilities brilliant and food terrific. I can’t rate this highly enough. Two small thoughts. For bad weather coat hooks just inside bedrooms would be useful. For lone female travellers a secondary lock/chain/fastener on door would ease any concerns. “Breakfast OK. Not big variety as expected. Hot food is made on demand plus a buffet with cereals, bread, etc. Mattress was worn out and the springs were sticking out, affecting my sleep. Also, too soft mattress. Nice size bathroom but dated. Cold room despite trying to regulate the radiator. Smelly room which has showed that there was no ventilation before my arrival. Thin wall. I could hear the other guest in the other room snoring and moving about. Definitely not 4 star accommodation. ”
