Upstairs, the bunk bed room and the two beautiful master suites (each with their own bathrooms) was ideal for multi-family use, providing ample space & privacy. The main floor provided large bright open spaces for all of us to gather for cooking, dinning, TV, games etc. We especially appreciated the large mudroom/entry with lots of closet space to accommodate all our winter gear. “The home is smaller that it appears in the VRBO listing. The bathrooms seemed clean, but the rest of home was not very clean. There was dust in the corners, spider webs and ants at the back entrance. The home has been well used since the VRBO photos were taken, and it could use some painting and TLC. The yard was weedy and has not been cleaned up since last fall.”

“The house was beautiful and had plenty of space to comfortably accommodate our group of 13. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free, and the host was easy to contact and kindly allowed us an earlier check-in, which we really appreciated. The sauna and games room were definite highlights and a big hit with everyone.Overall, it was a fantastic stay well-equipped, and perfect for a large family gathering. ”

“Everything about the place was great. The only problem was the air conditioning and the spider situation. The air conditioning was very cold and I couldn’t control it from the basement. There were a lot of bugs and spiders.”

“He photos are misleading - one feels they are renting a beautiful retreat. It isn’t. The cottage is run down, with a large burn on the dining room table, holes in the sitting room ottoman, and a worn out couch that we all found incredibly uncomfortable. Lack of comfortable seating was the worst part of the stay - either one sits on the worn out couch, or the hard dining room table chairs.
