“We vacationed here for a ski weekend with 4 families - 8 adults and 6 kids. Overall it was a fine house. I wish I had realized the large bunk room is in the loft over the family room. While it was appealing to let the kids have a sleep over it made no sense to put them over the family room unless all the parents were going to go to bed at 8pm. “This house is fabulous. The location is peaceful and serene,and walk-able to town. Its BIG, and has two separate living spaces. One on the main floor and one downstairs. Both spaces have full size gourmet kitchens. So it can comfortably fit two families-if needed. It's SPOTLESS, and stocked with amenities. Steve was a wonderful Host, he made sure we had everything we need. I would rent this house again, I loved it.”

“Very clean property and house. The heating of the rooms is uneven; the upstairs bedrooms become very hot in the middle of the night even when you turn off the fireplaces. The lower bedroom was very cold. Almost all the time unless you left the fireplace burning. The stairs off of the deck going down to the yard could both use a safety railing to hold onto. “The stay was wonderful! An extremely beautiful view, clean and serene space, and everything was provided for. Dave and his family were wonderful, and helped provide everything we could need. Even getting us out of the mud on the first night. Close to some of the best wineries and eats in the area, and a short drive to some very visually stunning parks beyond the lake itself. Their dog, Willy was an extra, added friend to us, and made our trip even more special. - Pete”
