  • HALEKAI is privately owned by a Native Hawaiian family. We offer reasonably priced beach front accommodations. Our guests have exclusive use of the property assuring privacy.

    IMPORTANT! All coastal properties are exposed to the rare occurrence of a Tsunami, also known as a Tidal Wave. See our Rental Agreement section for more information.

    Aliomanu Bay offers great snorkeling, sunrises, moonrises, seasonal whale watching, and a visit by an occasional Hawaiian monk seal. In addition, numerous other visitor activities are close by.

Lovely house right on the ocean in a beautiful location. We didn't have a US number to contact the host and a miscommunication made check in a lot longer but the hosts were quick to reply on here and were very helpful once we got in touch! Would definitely stay again!

This was our second stay and it was just as good as we remembered. We love our quiet morning and evenings on the deck overlooking the ocean. The house is in a great location - short drives to desired destinations but well removed from the crowds. Host is great and accommodating. We added nights to our reservation both times and they made it very easy. The kitchen is well stocked. We don’t want to say too much more because we want to make sure it’s available for our next visit. We really love this place and do not want to see it changed like so many of the other rentals in the area.

Our stay was as perfect as we were hoping having read the owners description as well as the other reviews. The ocean is right outside the door. Morning sunrises were spectacular. The property is totally private in a well kept area. It’s a short drive to town for shopping and amazing food trucks and restaurants. The host was amazing to work with. Any future trips to Hawaii will be to this property!!

This property is fantastic. It is only steps away from the water and the snorkeling is good, especially at high tide. The fish are plentiful and I even encountered a turtle. If you are interested in a long walk on the beach, that is available. Water shoes are encouraged for an even longer walk. The interior has all of the comforts of home, with the exception of AC. At night, it is encoraged to open the windows and enjoy the ocean breeze. You will find delight at this location, which is convenient to Princeville and Kapa'a.

This is a most magical place. This listing does not do it justice. Not only was Al amazing and helpful but the property was superb! The sunrise was perfect and watching the resident turtle everyday was a special treat! Snorkeling was amazing! The porch was the best hangout and is were we spent most of our time. If you want luxury and AC this isn’t it but if you want peaceful, relaxing, cozy, magical, then this is your place. I can absolutely say we will be back! Mahalo Morgans, for sharing such a special place with us!

Family get away to the beach

First time to Kauai and not only are we planning our return to the island, we plan to stay here again! Fantastic location for anyone looking for some quiet beach mornings, snorkeling, or playing in the sand. Conveniently located to Kapa’a for shopping and dining. We loved it.

Best porch in the world!

Many thanks to the Morgans for a wonderful stay. We love the simple set up in such a beautiful location. Many hours spent on the porch watching the ocean and the sun rise:)
