My friends and I loved this property!

I booked this home for a few friends whi were accompanying me to an ultramarathon on the the island. We LOVED the house and the location. What's beautiful home and the layout is exactly like the photos. The best part was having the golf cart at our disposal. What's a great experience.

Perfect for quiet retreat

Sabal palms was a nice quiet neighborhood, close enough to beaches and activities. Everything was in good working order, plenty of amenities. While it was only my husband and I, the place would have easily accommodated many others. We enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful Experience

Our time on BHI was fabulous! Loved everything about our stay on the island except the cleanliness of our unit.. B by the see needs a thorough cleaning. The master shower did not have a liner and the fabric decorative curtain is covered in mold. Otherwise, the unit was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous weekend!

There is no better place to escape the real world than Bald Head Island! The house was perfect and had everything we needed. The screened in porch is a perfect place to start and end your day. Can’t wait to go back!

Lovely stay

Great house in a nice location. Bikes and a golf cart were included. The well stocked kitchen and screened in porch were nice perks. We would definitely stay here again in the summer and use all the boogie boards and beach chairs that were included too.

Bald Head Island Getaway

We visited Bald Head Island for the first time and found this great house on VRBO. Super clean and spacious. Had every comfort we needed and never had to worry about not having a car to go get any supplies. The golf cart was very helpful. The only issue we had was with the WIFI password not working. I sent an email since the rental office was closed and quickly received a reply and the solution to reset the modem due to a storm earlier in the week. This is a great house for families as it is located in a nice circle of cottages and has an ample supply of bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs etc.

Pleasant place but in need of attention

We stayed on BHI for two nights on somewhat short notice, so there weren't many rentals available to choose from. This house has all the necessities, and the bed was comfortable, but the entire feel of the house is a bit worn down. The furnishings are dated and/or cheap looking. The flooring is worn. All the window screens are thick with dust and cobwebs. One of the two keys provided to us had been snapped off (apparently by the difficult-to-use front door lock) by a previous renter. The golf cart's windshield was partly broken. All in all the place just seems to be lacking attention and care. But for our limited purposes, the property was good enough. In the future we'll reserve further ahead of time and get a place that's better cared for.

Great, central location. Very comfortable house. Only "complaint," is that there was no real master bedroom. Bedrooms were small, but we slept fine. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay here. The space was perfect and cozy. Bald head island is a wonderful escape from the chaos of the world right now.

Super comfortable home!

This is a great house with all the supplies you’ll need: bikes, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, surf board, grill and small cooler. Our kids really enjoyed the TV choices and space for themselves upstairs. Great beds too- very important!

Great house in woods by the beach

Large home for a 2BR and plenty of room to spread out in both living areas. Nice pots/pans cooking supplies in kitchen. Two things to make you happy on Bald Head: A Speedy golf cart and great water pressure in shower. Would come back again.

Great stay in quiet area in BHI.

Loved the home. Games and beach chairs and umbrella were helpful for my son and I. One thing I would suggest is to have some better pans to cook with and some basic spices--- kitchen is bare bones.. otherwise great place.
