“We stayed here for two nights and felt cosy even in the storm which started the night we checked in. I was bit concerned for the heating and facilities for it being a one room lodge with what seems not the most cold resistant insulation around windows and doors. BUT I have to say that never we felt cold as heater quickly warmed up both room and bathroom, and it stayed so. We absolutely loved interior of our little room. “This is a perfect lodge in a beautiful setting. Ideal for dogs with their own doggy paddock and open fields. On arrival, Lesley is there to meet ,and settle you in. Everything is thought of a real home from home with a cosy log burning stove to relax in front off ”

“We stayed in The Barn for a couple of nights, a wonderful house , very comfortable, plenty of space. It was a little cold, and did take a while to heat up after we turned the heat on. One thing to note, there are no instructions on how to use the beautiful Falcon stove. Maybe a simple sign in the kitchen , with the basic instructions please, for those like us who have no experience with this type of stove.”

“If you want a beautiful, quiet spot, right on the edge of Loch Lomond, then this is the place for you. It is quite remote other than the nearby hotel and the roads to get there are narrow, so not one for those wanting lots of nearby options for food drink (need to drive 20 mins).”

“Great location in the countryside, but close enough for day trips into either major city. Beautiful views all around the property. Check-in was simple, but check-out was a little less clear on what was expected of me. Overall though, I'd highly recommend this location. ”
