“upon arriving,it was easy access to the flat, first appearance, it looked okay,you’re going to the first bedroom.There was clothes in the wardrobe like someone’s is living there and only left when the flat has been rented out.One bed was at the normal size and the other bed was really low to the ground,there was food in the kitchen,no instructions on how to use the oven or the air fryer no instructions for anything really, apart from empty the bins but don’t tell you where the bins are.couldn’t...

“We stayed 2 nights here . What a wonderful hotel .
The staff were amazing. Helpful and very friendly .
First night we ate in the restaurant. Food was plentiful hot and so delicious
What a star Neil our waiter was . Happy to chat about the area and gave us some ideas of where and what to visit . Loved the ladies at breakfast who were so attentive . Again food amazing and piping hot til the last mouthful . Thank you Duck Bay

“We have stayed here before and it is a good practical option for us when we visit family. It is clean modern and nice and warm. We have stayed twice before in different rooms, both of which were bigger than the one we had this time. It would really have been more suitable for a single guest. That being said, we did manage ok for 2 nights. We did notice the noise from other guests a bit more this time than we did before. The location is ideal as there are shops, bars and decent restaurants...

“I really enjoyed my stay at the Strathaven Hotel. Staff were wonderful and helpful (probably the best at any hotel I have stayed at). The room was clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable (I slept soundly!). The breakfast was included and there’s nothing like a Scottish breakfast! I will definitely return!! Well worth it!”
