“Stayed for the Easter w/e to visit our cadet son at West Point. % mins from maon street and 10 mins from West Point and the golf course. Clean, spacious and well laid out for 2 adults and 2 teenage kids. Will be looking to stay there again on future visits instead of trying to find hotels that are 25-40 mins drive away.”

“Amazing apartment in a restored antique home. We loved the stay, but would not stay there again because Gary keeps his dogs outside in a pen 24/7 and we have a moral issue with that. ”

“The apartment was great. The location was perfect for some local hiking. Parking was available in the back of the house. The owner lives on the first floor. To have a good check-in experience, make sure you visit his rental website to reply to check-in questions - replying to emails from that website will not reach him. The owner is not necessarily on the property during check-in hours and needs to know your planned arrival time. ”

“My friends and I rented this property for a long girls weekend to attend an event in the area. We liked the historical aspect of the property and Gary was an excellent host. His banana bread was amazing! We would definitely stay again. ”

“Not only was the property not as described in several key ways, causing us to leave immediately because we felt unsafe entering and exiting the property, but the host refused to refund any funds. Regarding the property, there were several issues. First, the parking area in the rear was dark and strewn with trash near a shared dumpster (not shown in images). It was in the rear, and the parking lot was apparently shared with the adjacent Mexican restaurant. Then there was the old-school lockbox...

“From the pre-arrival to check out this property was brilliant!!Could sleep with the window open as the bedroom faces the backyard with beautiful old trees. Stan was so, so helpful with tips and communication was great.You can tell that a lot of thought and love went into making this apartment a home and I loved my solo stay there. I did get a parking ticket as thursday morning is street cleaning day but that s entirely my fault and Stan even mentioned it - just make sure to keep track of it.”

“If you want to go to a diagusting neighborhood then this is your place. We felt so unsafe we didn’t even stay there. We got a hotel. It is that bad. As nice as the inside is, the outside and neighborhood will have you running. Music blasting stinks of weed homeless people all over. Do not book this place. The owner didn’t even refund us our cleaning fee. Trust me STAY AWAY.”
