“The Rosemont Inn is a beautifully restored mansion that is both elegant and comfortable! The breakfast was wonderful in their beautiful dining room and they have so many extra touches, bathrobes, snacks, coffee bar, soft drinks available all the time. “This B&B was one of the highlights of our trip to Cooperstown. Not only was the historical building gorgeous and beautifully (painstakingly!) restored, but the entire staff was warm and welcoming. The breakfast was DELICIOUS (thanks, Chef!), the in room amenities were top quality, and the room itself was cozy and quiet. It’s walkable to the Baseball HOF and other Main Street attractions. We cannot wait to come back! Highly recommend! ”

“While the rooms and furnishings are very nice, the bathrooms we not cleanly or updated. The night I stayed there, the power had gone off and there was no air conditioning and the no water. This could be a nice B&B but the outdoors need to be improved. For starters, they could remove the junk water heater from the front porch.”

The address said Fort Plain, however it's in town of Danube, outside of St. Johnsville, not even remotely close to FP. Mind the location, as that wasn't a big deal to travel back and forth.
