“Nice big room and bathroom, the only downside was staying there during a hot spell and the bathroom got the sum very early morning and the bedroom for the rest of the day making it unbearable to sleep in, even though there was a fan provided. The bottom sheet didnt fit the bed properly so with shuffling due to the heat it didnt stay on for long. Great location and a good base for visiting the area and plenty of parking. “The room was very cold with no additional blankets. The food was rushed and under cooked. The breakfast started and eight there were no staff to service us even though we had informed the night before we needed to leave asap therefore we had to leave without breakfast. “The room was very clean and came with a nice moon-shaped batch tub with shower in the bathroom. The staff were very friendly and gave me directions to the hotel, since it was hard to find, even using Satnav. I was able to get a free car parking space because they are limited, so that was a bonus. The room came with free continental breakfast, which was also a nice touch. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay on the sea harbour and highly recommend it to future travellers.”

“Property was exceptionally clean modern well equipped. Nice little touches of milk bread spread and bottles of wine for arrival. No issues at all with the property it was lovely. The only issue was with the pub next door, which when we spoke to the host the next day he dealt with straight away. Parking instructions weren’t communicated. Access to property is via the pub car park.”

“Lovely location. Property beginning to look a bit shabby e.g. wallpaper, chair coverings etc but comfortable. Kitchen could be better equipped if you actually intend to cook e.g. no bowls for salad/fruit/mixing; a cheese grater would be useful. We had a minor glitch with the parking permit but this was rectified very quickly by the host. Overall we enjoyed it and would stay there again.”

“Property was quite dirty. I had to was all of the cutlery. There were grease smears on the cooker hob. The oven trays and grill were filthy. Did not use because of this. I did not receive the wifi information until 5 days into my stay. This was after leaving messages on owners voicemail. They never got back to me at all. Had to go through a customer complaints procedure with Sykes cottages to get the wifi details. No apology, just an email with a picture of the router (which wasn’t in the flat)....
