“Upon my arrival I received a genuinely warm welcome from Chris and Julie. My room was beautifully presented and very clean with a modern look. The breakfasts were excellent and Chris was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.”

“Lovely hotel - similar in style to a travel lodge /holiday inn. Really quiet. A/C that works! Very comfy beds and good shower. We had an evening meal there and the food was spot on - I had the salad and it was delicious, really well-made. Hats off to the chef, Dani - thank you, you have real skill! Overall the staff are lovely, very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Sea is only 5min walk away. Will definitely return - thankyou!”

“We stayed in room 4.just about acceptable considering we were there 3 nights.but shower was disgusting.my partner would not use it.washing herself down at separate sink.even her long hair on last night.l washed myself down in sink also but braved it and had shower on last night.l will say breakfast was good. “Arrived to be given a key and parking disc , friendly but nobody overnight at a reception, big room but found it very noisy with the seagulls and road noise as single glazed windows , tap wobbly and no waste cover in shower , should have unplugged the fridge as noisy at night on and off , no plug point near the dressing table so couldn’t see when drying hair , did smell like a greasy spoon !!!”

“The room was very clean and came with a nice moon-shaped batch tub with shower in the bathroom. The staff were very friendly and gave me directions to the hotel, since it was hard to find, even using Satnav. I was able to get a free car parking space because they are limited, so that was a bonus. The room came with free continental breakfast, which was also a nice touch. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay on the sea harbour and highly recommend it to future travellers.”

“Sadly, this was a bad experience. I booked via Expedia where the hotel was advertising a Michelin trained chef and a restaurant. I travelled solo 145 miles for a two night break purely because of this. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn the restaurant closed last year. I expressed this disappointment in very civil tones, explaining this was the only reason for my visit. I asked the owner Stacie if I could therefore cancel my second night and obtain a partial refund for it. Stacie agreed...
