Nestled beneath Sheepcliff mountain, this charming and private two bedroom, two bath, two story cottage in the Lancewood community of Cashiers, NC will be your relaxing home away from home. Two acres of hiking trails and your own private waterfall and creek located off your living room and deck. Located within walking distance of the Cashiers Crossroads, Farmer’s Market, Buck’s Coffee Shop, The Village Green and dozens of restaurants and shops in the village of Cashiers. Ingles grocery shopping one mile away. Open your windows to the sounds of the waterfall and creek crashing just steps away from your home. Hike across the wooden bridge while exploring over two acres of trails and the creek. Two story lay out allows for separation if desired (downstairs is great area for kids with bedroom, full bath and den with TV) The 600sf partially covered deck overlooking the waterfall and creek is the perfect spot for reading, napping, football watching, family cook outs, game playing and quality “down time” after a day of hiking, shopping, skiing, sightseeing and waterfall hunting across the Plateau.

    Entry level: Living room, kitchen, dining area, master bedroom, full bath, balcony & partially covered deck overlooking waterfall & creek.

The cottage was great and in a very good location close to town. The outdoor space and setting with creek is really nice. Space is maximized with a den, bedroom, and bathroom on each floor. I hope to have an opportunity to visit again.

Property is very welll styled and comfy.. lots of extras in the kitchen that I didn’t have to buy.. the landscaping is beautiful and the location in the creek is just magical. View is terrific and the large porch is amazing. Totally recommend

Great Escape!

Location was perfect - convenient to everything you might need. The backyard with the creek, waterfall, fire pit and amazing landscaping made the property.

Absolutely perfect!

Only had a couple of days away, but this was the ideal cottage. Nestled in the woods, but close to town, and everything was just picturesque! The owners were also so accommodating and helpful! Cannot wait to come back again for a longer stay!

Spectacular home

Spacious home with huge decks, nestled in a beautiful forested area. They though of everything when landscaping and the inside so that guests literally had everything they needed for a great stay. The large forested area makes A great place for dogs .

Perfection!

Beautiful cottage, amazing location with a small hike to the city center of Cashiers. We had an absolute ball! The cottage has its own fire pit where we roasted marshmallows and very open waterfall. We can’t wait to return!

Tranquility near the falls

Patch was a very welcoming host! If you’re looking for a relaxing, beautiful cottage with the sounds of a babbling creek, this is the place for you! The cottage was charming and surrounded by nature! Cashiers creek stay

This property is a gem! Can walk from house to town through some woods (trail clearly marked) and on logging trail which leads to road into town. Nice big deck, shaded most of the day. We will be back!

Outstanding property, hidden gem!

Magnificent setting! This home is impeccably clean and so well appointed with everything you could need during your stay. We thoroughly enjoyed sipping coffee on the expansive deck while viewing the waterfall and stream, so peaceful. Nighttime s’mores making around the fire pit is a perfect ending to a day of hiking. Location was incredibly convenient as well. The hosts were so helpful and gracious too.

Fall Vacay

The house is very cozy and the property is just as amazing as the pictures. The waterfall and creek running down the backside of the house are beautiful. Huge outdoor deck to enjoy grilling and the view of the creek. Fire pit was enjoyable in the evenings. Owners were very helpful and accommodating! Highly recommend this property.

Fabulous Falls Creek Cottage

Every detail was taken into consideration by the intentionally invitational host of Falls Creek. From the arrival note, snacks, refrigerator drinks to the tasteful decor and outdoor beauty from the deck overlooking the creek and waterfall, this vacay is a must for those who wish a peaceful, beautiful and relaxed atmosphere. Thanks so much for the hospitality. Definitely will continue to be on my list of memorable places for a return visit!

Peaceful private waterfalls

This is such a lovely cabin in a quiet neighborhood but very close to restaurants and shops. The outdoor space is amazing with a nice waterfalls. The hosts are very thoughtful and the cabin has everything you need. The snack and drinks were very appreciated as was the biscuit left for our fur baby. We look forward to returning in warmer weather so we can spend more time in the outdoor spaces.

Great Cottage Close to Town

We had a wonderful stay at this creek side cottage. The waterfall and creek was such a treat. Beautiful backyard and setting. The location is perfect for walking and privacy, but also so close to the center of Cashiers. The kitchen was very well stocked and the grill is a nice one! We enjoyed the large deck for reading and coffee time. The Owner was lovely to work with and a great communicator! Can't wait to stay here again.

Spectacular Mountain Cottage

Adorable mountain cottage in a picture postcard location with a stream, fire pit, landscaped grounds, stone terrace and walking paths in a beautiful Sherwood Forest setting on two acres. The owners are the ultimate hosts on every metric. Cold sodas in the refrigerator, welcome snacks, etc. A 5.0 rating is well deserved!

Nestled Amongst Nature’s Beauty

What an incredible little cottage! We arrived late in the evening to a beautifully lit and very welcoming space that beckoned us to simply relax and enjoy all of the surrounding comforts within. In the morning, we ventured outside and took in the beautiful outdoors, just steps from the cottage and the surrounding areas. We had a wonderful experience and our hosts could not have made our stay any more pleasant! Thank you for sharing this very special property! A joy to be in this space and place amongst the majesty of the mountains.
