“The property was beautiful, clean, peaceful and the views were breathtaking. The owner communicated well and was so accommodating. We came with a large group for a bachelorette trip and we had plenty of room for everyone to sleep and hang out. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed.We will definitely be back to stay again on a family trip and we are hoping to book later this summer. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a special getaway!”

“We love Ocracoke, been on and off for many years! The Charter Room had all the amenities we needed. Golf cart rental through the place was also an easy process, and we enjoyed the usage. On a quiet street just off the main area of the village. Close to everything. The rooms were very neat and the cleanliness was outstanding. Thanks for having us!”

“This was our second stay at this peaceful, clean house and we have already booked another stay. It is on a quiet road with a roomy kitchen, comfortable dining area and family room. My favorite part is sitting in the adirondack chair with my feet in the Pamlico Sound drinking my morning coffee watching the pelicans fish. It is a favorite get-away home away from home that is an easy bike ride close to the fun shops and delicious seafood.”

“Very beautiful and comfortable home but didn’t realize how remote it was 30 minutes from anything 😬and when the wind is blowing the internet and Wi-Fi is out 😞 the 4 days we were there it was out for 2 and we couldn’t do any work 😞 they should put on their listing how remote they are and how far they are from a beach 😞”

“The cottage was perfect for how we wanted to spend our getaway. Dinners out, fishing, beach and long walks. I could make breakfast and put together lunch for our outings. It was wonderful having our dog and meeting Noodles….the owners dog who is absolutely darling. My husband and I will keep this location in our favorite file for the future!!!”

“The house itself is pretty rustic, but the property is fabulous! The view from the screened porch was beautiful, and the morning sunrises were incomparable. There is no Wi-Fi, but there is plenty of fun to be had. We kayaked and enjoyed the waterfront deck all week. We did day trips to Ocracoke and Beaufort which were easily accessible from Cedar Sunrise. We didn’t fish, but you could fish right from the deck if you wanted to. The house is very basic, but it was nice to unplug for the week....
