“I loved having a real kitchen since I like to cook my own meals. There was a great field to walk my dog. Everything in the house was impeccable and our host offered snacks for both me and my pooch. There's no WiFi so it's best to do all your WiFi business before you come. It's near the Kalona Museum about the active Mennonite community nearby. Wish I'd had time to visit.”

“This was just the right size for my family of four. (would work for 6 as well). Nicely redone. We will stay here again if in Cedar Rapids area. Owner is working on a fire pit out in back. Will be a nice addition when finished. It was centrally located to all the activities and shops we visited.”

The cabin was very welcoming, had what we needed, and had the peace that was very welcomed during this difficult time. We were close to events and family in Solon, but had a quiet, peaceful place to let down. The lake was a short walk from the property, with a convenient trail for walking, running, and enjoying nature.”

“This beautiful home was just as described. We had two families totaling eight people staying here as we gathered to attended a wedding. The beds were comfortable and the house was very well set up. It was also spotlessly clean and sanitized. Would definitely recommend this home!”

“We wanted a place that could accommodate our family of 5 with their significant others. This Victorian beauty has so much charm! It gave us ample space to hang out as a family. We utilized the formal parlor to have a cup of coffee and visit. We enjoyed the informal family room to watch tv. Beds were super comfy in all the rooms. Check in and check out was so easy! We hope to stay here again!”

“The extended family has outgrown my parents farm house. We booked here to get enough beds for everyone, now that the kids are older and less interested in sleeping on the floor. The cabin was awesome - great secluded little spot amongst some ponds on a great piece of ground. We immediately booked it for another visit while we were eating breakfast that first morning. Communication was great, absolutely fit the bill for our needs.”
