Lovely stay in Chelan

We rented this house for a bachelorette party and it was absolutely stunning. We lucked out with incredible weather so we got to enjoy the shared grassy areas for yard games and the community pool. Communication with the property was always quick and they even allowed for an early check-in. We will definitely be back to The Lookout!

The house was great, well-stocked with all the necessary kitchen supplies, big refrigerator. Rooms & beds very comfortable. House well-positioned in the community.

Great property for a women's retreat!

Comfy and stylish... perfect for a women's retreat. We hiked the Pacific Crest Trail several days earlier into Stehekin. This home was a perfect place to recover from our 18 mile hike. Hot tub was clean (we all work for Ecolab and are picky about water quality!). Home was close to fabulous wineries and eateries. Thank you.

The Perfect Vacation Spot

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The house is beautiful, well stocked, and has many amenities to enjoy, from the fire pit, to the hot tub, to the large green community lawn just off the back deck. It’s a quick and easy walk to get to both pools and the beach trail, which were all perfect spots for our family to enjoy for several hours at a time (and we have little kids, so that’s saying quite a bit!). It was hard to leave and we can’t wait to come back and make this an annual vacation destination to enjoy for years to come.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very pleased with this was beautiful inside and out, and had some great amenities. We would definitely stay there again. Here are a few things that were missing/challenging which would make the home even better: foil, ziplocks, standard cookie sheet, large frying pan, more K cup options OR coffee filters so we can brew our own.We also had challenges getting the ice maker going...and the thermostat was odd. It was difficult to one point of two upstairs rooms, one was 66 at the same time the other was 75. The inconsistencies with the thermostat and temperature were a bit annoying.

We were near the greens for game playing, pools for swimming and playgrounds. The house provided all that we needed to enjoy them all. So many thoughtful extras! Loved the home and the outdoor areas including the firepit, outdoor fireplace and the hottub! Excellent.

Overall a lovely home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The beginning of our stay was frustrating as there was water all over the kitchen floor upon arrival and the door was open. No one was reachable from the management company until the next day and we woke up to more water all over the floor. They did send a very nice maintenance person to assess but they weren't sure what was going on. Other than the first impression, the home was lovely. We would have loved a laminated list of directions for the fire pit, hot tub and check out procedures as well, like some of the other homes but we figured it out.

The pool was also a short walk, and having the yard directly in front of the house was great for the kids playing yard games. Large deck where we spent every evening. Definitely would come back to this house again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Two grandparents, two children, their spouses, and 3 children - 4 months and 2 12 year olds. Perfect size house. We always want 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, which can be difficult to find. We very much appreciated the overall spotless cleaning of this home. We also enjoyed how stocked the kitchen was with cooking items, appliances and baking gear. It’s not often that a VRBO is this clean and stocked as nicely. I would recommend that the description include in the description the type of coffee maker and additional appliances available, like the panini griddle. There was also an extensive array of spices. This home is well cared for. We did have an issue with the hot tub and the Lookout staff took care of it as soon as they could.

Awesome Property

A nice open concept property with great space in the main level for lounging. It was well appointed down to the stocked Starbucks Keurig pods and machine, Sonos players, a selection of books and Apple TV / Netflix account setup. Great Property.

The house is beautiful and a great location with lots of outdoor seating and a big grassy area to play in. Very close to both pools and the park and the shuttle to the lake. Every time we stay at The Lookout we feel like we are in a tropical place far away (not just three hours) from Seattle. We love Chelan and have made it an annual vacation for many years. So happy to have found The Lookout. My only complaint would be the construction but that should soon quiet down.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love staying at the Lookout, the properties are very well kept, amenities are great and there’s so much to do! This was our first time at this house and while the house was very nice, it felt a bit cramped for our families. Keep in mind that during the summer when temps are 100+, the outdoor space is not as important (we forgot this when booking), and if you have young kids, try to find a place with a play room/rec room or open space. And toys/books/games maybe! Also, there weren’t enough pillows and blankets for our group - each bed had only one per person, so it would be nice to have things stocked a bit more. That said it was a lovely stay and we will definitely be back soon!!!

Great getaway

The house was beautiful! The kitchen was stocked with necessities/cookware/utensils. The private hot tub was amazing and son nice to have the towels available. The only missing thing was a snow shovel but we managed with a broom just fine. I would love to come back to this house again!!!

Reviewer Comments: This house was outstanding, from high quality Pottery Barn furniture, to plush comfy mattresses, clean sheets, neatly stocked kitchen with organic spices and luxurious towels. Absolutely loved our stay! And definitely would return. (Side note, the home it self is nicely insulated. We had kiddos with us and two more families and it was sound proof very well so if you’re a light sleeper like I am this is perfect!) Thank you “don’t stop believing” home for our mini Christmas getaway.
