We had a lovely stay at the property. Upper Slaugher is a relatively quiet little village, with easy access to everything you want to see in the Cotswolds (and we have been many times). The house is lovely, has a really nice kitchen and dining area, and a comfortable living room where we enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace. A small point but worth mentioning: communication from the owners/managers was particularly good.
Only things to note is that there are a lot of uneven stairs, so it may be a bit harder for older guests or very small children. Access to two of the bedrooms requires caution to avoid bonking your heads (the rooms themselves are lovely). Also, a bit unusual: toiletries are not provided other than hand soap, so bring your own.
Overall, a nice bolthole and a great jumping off point to enjoy the area.
