We arrived at 530pm with the hope that we could have a drink at the golf clubhouse, only to be told the bar was closed and the staff were looking to kick out the current guests. Considering golfers were still on course, not what you would expect. “The thermostats controlling the aircon/heaters were mounted directly in line with the heater outlets so that whenever the heater kicked in the thermostat immediately thought the room had reached the right temperature. This comical setup had been installed in our bedroom and also my sister's room. The name of the installers was, amazingly, printed on the units. The hotel management would be well advised to get the installers back to correct the locations of the thermostats - at no cost to...

“Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x”
