“I loved the charm of the old building. Breakfast was included and was very good. The famous Lukmaan restaurant is right around the corner. There is a mosque across the alley, so you will hear the call to prayer unless you’re a heavy sleeper. There is also street noise but it usually gets quieter the later it gets. There is no parking. Make sure the taxi driver points out the building because it’s very nondescript. Overall a great place to stay. ”

“This hotel was new, nice, quiet and clean. There was no bar or restaurant (only for breakfast) but it was no problem because there was a nice restaurant at the beach and next door. We had the larges breakfast ever. Pool was lovely. There was private beach with free sunbeds. There was a guard 24/7 and the staff was so helpful. Special thanks to Gipson who made us fell at home and helped with every single request we might have. Hakuna Matata. Will definitely come back. ”

“I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...
