“Beautiful guest house …very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms, lovely and clean, with mini bar …and they little details in the rooms like Disaronno liquor ….a little Italian restaurant situated downstairs. Maldon is a beautiful village, with little shops and restaurants just around the corner, I would also highly recommend Mrs Salisburys for food & service too which is just around the corner on the high street. Parking is also available. ”

“Delightful, comfy, characterful very centrally located with pleasant, helpful staff. The room was clean, tidy comfy and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was freshly cooked with good quality ingredients. All in all, we had a very pleasant, if brief, stay and would certainly stay again and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Maldon. ”

“Great rooms our second time staying at staycation and different suite this time everything went smoothly check in etc but no hot water in the room, wouldn’t have been a big issue but with it being December and the solution being to run across the hallway to another unit was cold Shanon was as helpful as she could be but with the cost of the stay this should have been checked before hand with a PPM check Out first stay in the de vere suite was a great stay but this time unfortunately wasn’t so...

“From the time we arrived until we left we had the very best of times. Clean room, great staff, Kieran, Johnny and Summer were awesome. And overall the food was absolutely delicious.. from breakfast through to and including the Sunday toast with delicious cauliflower cheese!! Highly recommended ”

“Room was nice but in need of update, bed base was ripped and cushions were stale and in need of a wash. It was good to have a fully stocked fridge Bathroom was lovely and a good size. Breakfast was good but disappointing to have to pay for fresh coffee. The coffee in the table flasks was not the best. Overall hotel is nice and I have stayed here many times but could do with a few tweaks here and there.”

“We stayed in this property for 5 days (December 11 to 16). On checking out, we asked for the total fee for our parking our vehicle for the 5 nights. We were told it costs £8 a night and to pay using the machine at the gate. We did. We paid £40 for the 5 nights. We got home, and received a £60 "fine" for parking at this hotel, even though we paid, we have the receipt and it shows in our credit card. We got another £60 admin fee charged by our car rental company to our card for this same...
