“3rd year at this property. Location, views, neighborhood all great. They provide all you would need. Close enough to Bodega Bay, Jenner and Duncan Mills. Do not miss the pastries at the Duncan Mills bakery. ”

“This was an excellent find for 2 adults(and possibly 1child). The location is prime for walking to everything in the town. The room and patio are nicely appointed. The only thing to suggest is a sheet for the day bed and a third pillow. Would stay again ”

“My husband and I stayed here for a few days and it was perfect. The location is great being close to town while still being secluded up in the vineyard. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning and at night and watching the deer or turkeys! If we come back to Healdesburg we will definitely be staying here again.”

“The house is beautiful. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The manager was super responsive to our questions. The property feels private, quiet and safe. The dogs loved the property. We did have to climb up from the road to close one gate for peace of mind. I highly recommend this location. Thanks for having us. We hope to be back sometime soon!”

“It’s a perfect escape for a couple, a beautiful setting and very intimate. A couple of things that are good to know: the bathroom doors are louvered, so if you are not already on comfortable bathroom habit status with your person, this might change that! As other reviews have noted, the bed is fairly hard. Two nights would be my maximum. And if you are at all pillow picky and are wondering if you should bring your own, you should. It was a beautiful peaceful place and we had a wonderful time....

“Right on the river, great time with friends!”

“We really enjoyed our weekend away, two small families, sharing the house and studio across the deck. Modern Zen is set back from the road and consequently really quiet and feels super secluded. The kitchen was well set up with everything we needed for a family meal. Some really thoughtful touches and little luxuries like a heated bathroom floor! “I love the place it was beautifully and quiet. My girls and i had a great time. The one thing i did not like is when someone try to say I was having more ppl staying at the place when it wasnt true. I make sure I fallow th rulse I'm not a person that be rude in someone place. I understand the person was looking out for the own but it just made me uncomfortable. But lucky the own was understandable. ”

“The place was amazing and we were so happy we stayed there. We would go back again in a heartbeat. It is a short walk away from the public Monte Rio beach and restaurants and it is a short drive away from the ocean or Santa Rosa in the other direction.”

“The five of us really enjoyed our stay. The property is wonderful and well stocked. We were surprised to have the hot tub maintenance person show up one day around 8am, but otherwise it was an extremely peaceful and private spot. Would stay there again! ”

“The place was very relaxing. Hot tub was beautifully located under the redwoods near the creek. Linens were exceptionally scented with hormonal disruptive scented laundry detergent. Bring your own wood for the fireplace, as none is provided. BBQ grill is broken and won’t ignite. Otherwise, the place is very comfortable with a well appointed kitchen and very spacious outdoor area.”
