“I should have read the description more carefully. I’ve never stayed in a bed and breakfast before. Gaylene was lovely and very welcoming. But having a common room was unexpected for me. I wanted to watch a little tv but wasn’t comfortable going downstairs to the “living room” and there’s no tv in the rooms. But still a lovely place. ”

“This is a very special place in my home state of Colorado. It doesn't take much imagination to feel like you are 150 years removed from the present day in this spot which is 2 block walk (uphill but just one way) to center of town. So very fun and a well kept secret so I apologize to the staff if I'm giving it away. But too good and fun not to comment. Thanks Bill and we hope to see you soon!”

“A short review seems minimal compared to the awesome experience my family had staying here. The hosts were more than accommodating. They brought coffee to my family every morning. This is more of a bed and breakfast rather than your typical rentals. The home is spacious and comfortable, the view is beyond spectacular. Don’t hesitate to book.”

“And we use this facility for Tai Chi kungfu camp, it was great for that. The facility was clean. The manager was very nice overall it was a great experience the only thing that bothered me of the area, which I was not aware of was the thousands and thousands of mosquitoes. It would’ve been nice to know that there was a mosquito issue in the area so we could’ve properly prepared but as far as the facility itself, it was great. We all had an excellent time there and will be great for families or...

“Rented the upstairs space with Theresa Pino for three days following the Labor Day weekend. My stay there was nice and peaceful. The room was very clean and stocked with amenities. Theresa (the hostess) is very friendly and she makes the stay seem very friendly.”

“I was in town for gravel biking. The room and its location was perfect. Easy walk to all the downtown restaurants. Quick access to the biking routes. Theresa found room in her shed to store my bike. Theresa was helpful with advice and history. Enjoyed my stay.”
