“This spot was almost perfect! Clean, pet friendly, easy communication, a bookshelf of old books from the 1920s, rocking chairs on the deck, and a great location not far from town. The only reason I didn’t give this stay five stars is because there are no bear bins outside. So, the large trash has to stay inside, and though the host offers to take out the trash, it can get smelly.”

“Donner Bliss is a dream! It’s conveniently located near both Donner and Truckee, and stocked with everything you could need. You can tell that it’s a beloved family home, with all of its thoughtful touches. Enjoying the fire pit or hot tub under the trees and stars is a treat in particular. It was perfect for our family (including our one year old and senior pup) and we certainly had room to spare, so it’d be good for larger groups, too. Highly recommend!”
