“Everything was as advertised. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. We never turned on the TV, but we did use our travel Bluetooth speaker. We chose the downstairs bedroom, even though it has the smaller bed, because the view out the windows is superior. Our dog loved the yard and chilling on the porch. The RV was not there during our stay, so all was quiet and private. It was just right for us!”

“We booked last minute and heard back quickly with clear instructions. Only thing that would have made it clearer is describing which door to use for baby bear or a sign on the door, but it was pretty easy to figure out. “Overall the rental met all the needs for our trip. It was a cozy house in a great location with great view of donner lake. Love the balcony. However the upstairs loft was not as clean as wanted. “I stayed here with my 5 girlfriends for a weekend to celebrate my 50th. After a couple of them left, some of the Dads came up with the kids. The property was spacious with ample bathrooms. Everything was really clean. My friends enjoyed the extra spices that were left behind in the pantry for cooking our meals. We roamed the property near the creek and the kids enjoyed the fair garden. We were finally able to enjoy the jacuzzi right before we left. We can't wait to come back! Just a head's up...

“This is a beautiful big country cabin and the theme holds up through out. Only caution is it can be hard to find at night and there is no cell service in the area. Know exactly where you are going before you go. Also, make sure you see all fees before you book. I would stay there again if I had a larger group. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at this spotless home! The house is an older one that has been updated. The kitchen, in particular, is worth note. It is tremendous! Unlike other rentals that are stocked with worn out, cast off, mismatched items, this kitchen has new appearing full sets of dishes, utensils, and cooking and baking items. “The property has stunning views, comfortable furnishings and everything needed for a relaxing stay. We stayed between seasons so we couldn’t take advantage of the many recreational advantages but the stay was comforting and gorgeous. The host, Karen went way beyond what was necessary to make sure our stay was everything we wished for. Appreciated her so much. Our only cautions are lots of steep stairs and firm beds (ok for us but some might not like.) We hope to return some day. ”
