“Overall the rental met all the needs for our trip. It was a cozy house in a great location with great view of donner lake. Love the balcony. However the upstairs loft was not as clean as wanted. The bed upstairs was stained with pet markings and smelled a little musky. But other than that, the rental met our needs. Another issue we did face was the parking. “Our stay at this cozy cabin was perfect for our group of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids) and a dog. The kids slept in the loft area, and they enjoyed playing up there too. Rooms were quaint and comfortable. Bathrooms had heated floors, clean, and nice thick towels. Kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. Parking space was adequate for 2 cars outside, no garage. The neighborhood was safe and convenient location for skiing and shopping center. I would definitely recommend staying here.”

“The location was great. The property was in a very good condition and was clean. There were a few spots in the kitchen that needed more attention. The surrounding area was quiet and there was a golf course across the street that was great for walking. “The property has stunning views, comfortable furnishings and everything needed for a relaxing stay. We stayed between seasons so we couldn’t take advantage of the many recreational advantages but the stay was comforting and gorgeous. The host, Karen went way beyond what was necessary to make sure our stay was everything we wished for. Appreciated her so much. Our only cautions are lots of steep stairs and firm beds (ok for us but some might not like.) We hope to return some day. ”

“This "cabin" is an architectural fantasy of design and architecture. It has all the amenities one would ask for. The decor theme was "rustic cabin" on steroids throughout. The sauna was huge, the master suite was delightful. I really enjoyed the shower and tub. The heat pump hydronic heat kept the place comfortable. If you have your passes you can ski in. You can enjoy all the Northstar HOA amenities during your stay. I would recommend this place to anyone!”
