No, this house is filled with a spirit of its own where you can feel the life of all those that have passed through these doors. If the walls could speak it would tell you the stories of some great writer who sat where you are now staring out to the stream below. If there was one word to describe this house...

“I took a 10-day solo trip to the big island for my 30th birthday. I wanted something that honored the natural beauty of Hawai’i. Mary’s Garden House hideaway was exactly that. The views from her lovely home were incredible and the location allowed me to see more of the east side of the island during this trip. I already can’t wait to return to see Hawai’i, Mary, and her sweet dog, Copper. A hui hou.”

“I loved the location of this vacation home. Updates from the photos as far as the kitchen is that the fridge is bigger and outside on the porch along with the induction cooktop. The grill was in great working condition. I really enjoyed cooking and eating outside on the porch. The view is spectacular. Jim was an amazing host and took the time to walk me around. I will be booking with Jim and Kim again.”
