“We had a really lovely stay at the Cart Lodge in early October. The hosts kindly left us some local bread, eggs, jam and biscuits which was a lovely welcome. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The beds very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and warm. Firewood had been provided, however we didn't need to use it. TV had lots of options. It would be nice to have an earlier check in time than 4pm, but everything with the property and hosts was fantastic. ”

The property is perfect for a large group, with large communal spaces where everyone can come together, but also some cosy nooks where you can enjoy a moment of quiet. The fact that it’s located above the beautiful Fowey estuary, with fantastic views and the town and beach a short stroll away is just a bonus!”

“We had the most amazing week with so much to do in the town, even with the restrictions with Covid. The property catered to every need and was perfect for our large family. We managed to get one big car on the drive and two other cars right outside the house on the road, which were perfectly safe all week. There is so many stunning beaches very close to falmouth, most are walking distance from the house. A perfect week. Thank you Martha for your amazing hospitality!”
