  • A wonderful opportunity to stay right in Historic Old Town Cottonwood—walk to wine-tasting rooms, shops, and restaurants just steps from the front door.

    PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING

    This unique property offers three separate living spaces under one roof. It includes two 2-bedroom, 1-bath homes (one upstairs and one downstairs), each with its own private entrance, plus a separate private king suite with its own bathroom on the lower level. The front home and the king suite are handicap accessible. Please note children cannot stay in one of the units without an adult present.

    Stay together while still enjoying your own private space—the perfect blend of connection and privacy.

    With hundreds of 5-star reviews, this home is truly one of a kind in Cottonwood. Everything Old Town has to offer is within easy walking distance, yet the property provides a rare sense of space, privacy, and comfort you won’t find anywhere else.

    This beautiful historic home has been 100% renovated for modern comfort and style. Enjoy secure off-street parking, plus a huge private backyard oasis featuring ping pong, cornhole, bocce ball, a fire pit, two gas grills, a pergola, and plenty of outdoor seating. The property is fully fenced and gated for privacy and peace of mind.

Perhaps one of the nicest VRBO rentals we have ever stayed in. Everything was very thoughtfully provided the house was tastefully, decorated, and exceptionally clean and comfortable. Wonderful to be so close to downtown Cottonwood.

We had an amazing stay at The Prickly Pear Guesthouse! The home was the perfect size for our group of eight. Spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location truly can’t be beat: walking distance to tasting rooms, shops, and restaurants, which made our weekend so easy and fun. The owners were incredibly responsive and accommodating, answering questions quickly and making sure everything was seamless from check-in to check-out. I would definitely book this home again!

Perfect Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was super clean, comfortable and well stocked. We were able to walk to town, which we loved. The owners were great to communicate with. They had several outdoor seating areas and outdoor games. We would highly recommend staying here.

What a great location to introduce our family to the Verde Valley. Walkable and something for everyone. The options for lodging at the Prickley Pear were were perfect for this bigger family. We were able to relax here before the wedding

Stayed with my girlfriend, sister & her husband, my cousin & her husband, a buddy and his wife and another friend. It was a great place to stay as we all had our own spaces to relax in and then get together in themai house for meals and fun. The outdoor area was great to hang out and play games too. We went to Sedona, Jerome, the train out of Clarkdale and then went back to PHX thru Jerome and up and over Mingus mountain thru PrescottA great time was had by all.

Amazing Destination

We stayed at this property with a few of our friends and absolutely fell in love. Perfect location for a walk down to old town Cottonwood tasting rooms, or get picked up for a tour of wine country in our own backyard of Arizona. The house was so fun with plenty or room for our group of couples. Super clean, super friendly, would 1000% like to stay again!

Amazing Property!

This property is the place to be in cottonwood! It’s an amazing house with space for everyone! The hosts we’re so helpful and their house is fantastic. It’s soo close to downtown cottonwood for all the shops and restaurants. We cannot wait to stay there again!!!

Annual Girls Weekend 2024!

Amazing clean place to stay!

I booked this property for some frie ds over the weekend. It was very clean and spacious. They had so many cute amenities and were very responsive when we had questions. It was very easy working with them nland we will definently be back!

Great location and accommodations

We had a lovely time at this home. The living space and outdoor gathering area were very well appointed. There were a couple times when the WiFi was spotty but that didn’t last long. We walked to downtown a couple of times to shop and eat. I highly recommend staying at this home!

REALLY great property! The hosts were very nice and they provide wonderful amenities that I have not received at other places I’ve stayed. Snacks, razors, toothbrushes, bottles of water. Everything is fresh and clean. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. (Go to Colts for breakfast) We’ll be back!

Winter break respit

We had a lovely time at the Prickly Pear! The owners are super responsive and accommodating! The house and property are very well maintained and updated w/ beautiful style! The beds are comfortable. There are fun yard games and board games . The walking distance to Main St shops, restaurants, breweries and wine rooms is awesome! We truly enjoyed our stay!

We loved it!

The Prickly Pear was a perfect base for an annual gathering of 50-something gals. It was comfortable and cute and well-equipped. We loved the outdoor spaces and amenities. Glen was immediately responsive to our questions. I felt like I had hit a home run by choosing this property for my out-of-state friends to enjoy along with all the Verde Valley has to offer.

Great space, great location, ample parking!

This space is fantastic for a group! We instantly felt at home. It has a great set up with nice indoor and outdoor areas to gather while everyone had their private space to escape as needed. The location is ideal as it is walkable to the restaurants and tasting rooms of Old Town. While we didnt prepare any meals in, the kitchens appeared to be fully stocked. We will definitely return!

Perfect Location

If you are looking for a place to stay with a larger group of friends that is walking distance to all the amazing restaurants and bars in Cottonwood....this is it! The house is perfect with plenty of space and a cute outdoor gathering area . Communication with Glen was incredibly fast. When a problem arose with our most previous stay it was remedied in literally minutes. We have stayed at this place multiple times for a reason!
