This studio is perfect for a romantic escapade or a thrilling solo trip to the mountains. You will be granted access to the resort's community laundry facilities, outdoor hot tub, and outdoor heated pool. Enjoy great mountain vistas, a flatscreen TV with cable, free high-speed WiFi and Internet (perfect to work and study from home!), partial A/C, a mini-fridge and coffee maker, and a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

    Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

No lighting in the bathroom which was a known issue with a terrible make-shift light that did not work. Water luke warm at best for every shower.

Perfect for 2

This is in a great location near the mountain and a handful of restaurants and coffee shops yet removed from the hustle and bustle of the main strip (which my husband and I appreciate). The room was clean and met our needs. The door was really hard to open and close all the way so we really had to work to make sure it closed each time but other than that it was great for our short stay.

Power out in part of the room for almost 24 hours. Included TV and Fan, no AC in room (which I knew but without a fan it was hot) called almost hourly trying to get someone in there. Took them almost 24 hours to simply flip a breaker. Light out in bathroom, door did not close all the way unless you forced it closed. Curtain rod broke so the drapes did not close all the way, made it difficult to sleep.

2 minute walk to the Ski Lift - Nice Room

Grand Lodge hotel room that is a VRBO. It has excellent access to the ski lift. It is only a two minute walk to start your ski day (or Summer hike). The staff at the Grand Lodge is always friendly and extremely helpful. The location is perfect. Once you walk out the front doors you are almost in the bus line for downtown. This is awesome. Once you park at the hotel…..you don’t have to worry about driving at all :) Only bummer…..the room doesn’t have a microwave.

The property was physically ok. 32 degrees (F) outside but poor heat inside plus only luke warm "hot" water. No communication available with the rental company (Vacasa). Poor vacation choice so we checked out after the first night of a three night reservation.

It’s just a Hotel Room

Location and amenities were great. But the listing added “kitchen items” and “dining area”. This is very misleading. Plopping a 2’ diameter table and a couple of forks doesn’t make it a kitchen. Just know before you go- it’s a hotel room. Plan on dining out for all meals unless you tote a stove up to the room.

So close to the ski lifts! Easy bus transportation into town. Great hot tub! Comfy bed but room needs HELP-no microwave but dishes, no dishwasher even though unit says to put dishes in dishwasher...biggest complaint is the fluorescent light in the bathroom didn’t work at all. It was so hard to get ready with no light. They had these cheap battery operated lights that came on but only when it was dark, so no help at all...water took forever to get hot in the shower and the unit was SO HOT!!! Thermostat was set at 45 but it was mid 70's at least in that room.

Wifi was TERRIBLE. It barely worked. There was a chapstick and piece of trash under the bed. Shower hot water often took VERY long (5+ minutes).

The room was fine for our stay, but could have been better. The shower doesn’t really work well, most of the water comes out of the tub spout while the shower head lever is pulled up. Water takes a while to get hot in the shower as well. There’s a small refrigerator which is sufficient but no microwave, which would have been nice. The table in the room was dirty, a sticky cup ring was left from the previous renters, and a few other things could have been cleaner. The ice makers in the building didn’t work, nor did the drink vending machine. There was no laundry soap or even an option to purchase any, which would have been nice. WiFi service wasn’t great… Besides those issues it was just a sufficient stay nothing exceptional.

Great location, bare bones

The location is amazing. Just a few minutes to the base lift and easy access to transportation into town. Having said that, we had to keep the window open for our entire stay due to the overwhelming and uncontrolled heat in the room. Fortunately, temperatures were in the high teens at night, which helped bring the room temperature down to the high 60s. There was no shampoo, no soap, But we figure we got what we paid for. The hot tub was crowded at almost all hours, but since it’s spring break, that’s to be expected a bit. At one point, the bathroom lightbulb exploded when we turned it on, which left glass all over the bathroom floor. We called maintenance and they came up and took care of the problem, returning functionality to the bathroom, lights and all. However, we were finding glass on the floor and in the shower for a couple days afterwards.

NOT A REAL VRBO

We thought we were getting a Vacation Rental By Owner but turned out to be a crappy hotel room. It was listed as a "Dream Studio" which we thought would have been a studio apartment. There was many issues with the room but since we booked it through VRBO the hotel staff really couldn't help us. Not happy that a hotel room was even an option to rent but listed like a personal property. The worse issue was the nasty shower. It barely came out of the shower head and it hardly drained. Which left you standing disgusting water right away. Crap from the drain came up into the shower / tub. There was a gross vent with years of dirt and now way to control the air temp. The blackout blind was broken so would not close all the way. And there was a constant buzzing noise. Would NEVER stay here again.

Do not stay here unless you like a poorly maintained property and misleading pictures on the website. When I arrived, the lights were not working in the entry way and the bathroom. The curtains did not close properly. The two sliding closet doors were off the guides and would not open or close. The safe did not close and lock. The pictures on the website clearly showed water bottles, a coffee maker and coffee making supplies. Now there is only a coffee maker. No coffee. No creamer. No sugar. And NO bottled water. They do not supply those items any longer. Well, then, take the darn pictures off the website! After I called and complained, they fixed the closet doors. They "fixed" the curtains so they would stay closed, but I could not get them back open. They replaced one light in the entry but one was still not working. And they could not fix the lights in the bathroom. It was going to take an electrician and that would be over a week away. And they could not fix the safe so that it would close and lock. The location of the room within the resort is really bad. The room has no view. It looks over the trash dumpster, the loading dock and a parking lot. Delivery vehicles and personnel traffic were very loud and annoying and occurred at all hours. For the premium price I paid at this "premium" resort, it was a very bad experience. DO NOT STAY HERE

I’m usually not one to write a review. About a month ago, as soon as I checked into my room there has been a consistent loud humming. I messaged Vacasa to let them know immediately of the concern since I was staying for two nights. They told me they would have someone check it out and they let facilities know. When I returned to my room that same evening the sound was still there and no updates have been made. I reach out again so they can still come and investigate the sound, but no one came that night. I was hoping someone would stop by when I was out during the day, but no surprise they did not. By this time it’s been 24 hours since I checked in that I have tried to get someone to come check on the sound and give me updates. I talked with the Vacasa manager, she said there’s nothing we can do since it’s someone unit and that I should INVEST IN EARPLUGS and the GL is responsible for everything outside the room. This is a huge inconvenience because the facilities people for GL couldn’t do anything about it either. Now I’m stuck in a loud room, sleep deprived on what’s supposed to be a vacation. I gave them a couple weeks after I checked out to figure out the claim and to work things out with me. I just got a response today reaching out after a month and multiple follow ups on my end. Their response was they could not issue me a refund and they “tried to offer me a solution.” Due to poor customer service I will not be booking through Vacasa in the future.

Great spot, clean, easy to find, and located right off the shuttle path into town. The only reason for 4 stars was due to the shower puddling under a low pressure spigot, sink light isn't working well, and the check in process is weird. I figured out how to check from other reviews. This unit is in a hotel and it's totally a hotel room. Adequate for our needs and nothing was really awfully wrong - just needs a moment of patience.

Functional & Convenient

Very convenient if you're there to ski: the lodge is next to the village and a comfortable walking distance to the express lifts. Super-friendly/helpful staff. Just don't expect any frills - the room is function-only (comfortable enough, but it's basically a budget-chain hotel room transplanted into a ski lodge. View is meh.)

Great location!

The condo is simple but had what we needed. The location is prime and the pool/hot tub is really nice. The only recommendation I would have is to add a microwave :)
