“11pm late check in staff left a key in a safe which was great but when we got to the room the door was actually ajar which is worrying when the rooms are accessed from outside and the car park is a car charging area with random people turning up all night. On the face of it clean and modern but very quickly you ca see the neglect. Bathroom very mouldy, broken internal window pane with sharp glass uncovered. “Gavin and Christopher have put a lot of thought into giving you an enjoyable stay at the Manorhaus Ruthin. The rooms are decorated reflecting welsh designs. The dining room has beautiful sculptures. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with a lot of choice. The coffee was excellent. Overall we had a great week end stay. The Manorhaus is only minutes walking into the centre where there are several excellent eateries/restaurants”

“Just a short overnight stay in see concert. Just slept there. Warm inside hut. Bed perfect for one. Hot shower in morning. Woke up by peacocks squawking...fabulous”

“Double room with nice views of the sea and Little Orme. We’ve stayed here a few times, and recommend booking a sea or Orme view at the front. Bathroom was small, and with a shower over the bath. Would prefer walk in shower as my 81 year old hubby has recently had an artificial knee. Nice selection of shampoos, conditioners etc. Breakfast and dinner were very nice, with the usual menu of a J W Lees pub/hotel. Plenty of parking…just make sure you fill in your registration details at...

“Stayed here for a couple of nights in April 2026. Lovely large room in the Tower! Had both breakfast and dinner here each day. Food was excellent. Service slow the first evening fo dinner but fine the second evening. Historic hotel with amazing wood carvings. ”

“Easy to find, great parking. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Needs more hooks in the bathroom and plug/charging points in thr main room. Continental breakfast was a bit sparse, although they did give me a poached egg. Staff were friendly.”

“Rooms clean, gym had everything for a usual gym goer, food was really good, but pricy but you get what you pay for. Staff were polite, weren’t always present at the bar or on reception but when they were there they really friendly. Rooms weren’t very soundproof but didn’t matter too much. Jacuzzi was really nice. Overall, would reccomend and visit again. ”
