“Good stay overall—the house was clean and comfortable. I do wish there had been a couple of complimentary water bottles and some guidance on where to buy groceries. The area feels a bit isolated, and we couldn’t find any major grocery stores nearby. Since we drove in from Houston and were busy preparing for a wedding while juggling family responsibilities, we didn’t have much time to explore the area on our own.”

“Initially, we weren't sure we would even have a place due to getting text messages from the management company ahead of time telling us to go to a different website to pay for our stay. I basically said I won't be doing that, VRBO has our payment info. The payment did go through normally and we were sent all the entry info 24 hours beforehand.Whatever they use to clean hits you in the face when you walk in. “The kitchen faucet water tasted bad. Maybe the sprayer needs cleaned? The bathroom faucet water tasted ok. The bed in bedroom on left was sacked out and hurt my back. The other room was ok.It was noisy. Lots of hot rods without mufflers on Ross.Otherwise clean and comfortable.”

“It grows on you. Great location if you want to experience east 6th. Rocking pool with happy hour. Nice restaurant with rooftop bar. Eclectic decor and gift shop. Overall, very fun. Was not disappointed, but half the hotel has hostel style private rooms with shared bath. Gated parking, secure entry. Interesting shops, nice walk to east Austin neighborhoods. Close to downtown and capital of Texas. Friendly staff. Room was clean. Shower shoes provided with robes.”
