“Excelente abadía convertida en hotel, extraordinario entorno y ambientes que evocan la vida en un castillo. Majestuosos jardines ideales para caminar y disfrutar del paisaje. When asking for it, they never found it. I was chasing the staff as i had to basically tell her how to proceed (contact the employee who signed up for the package and track it down, simple!). Not even the reception manager showed up to do something about it nor apologise for the situation.

“Outstanding hotel, situated in a quiet location away from the noisy and busy city . Rooms are cozy and maximally comfy. Good interior, with extra duvet kept for use. Cleanliness was a top notch. Bed was very comfortable , King size mattress with all white and succulent duvet and pillows. Clean toilet , bespoke and tailored to ultimate comfort and splendor. Staff were polite, friendly and highly professional. Would greatly recommend!! Definitely repeating my stay. ”

“Spacious and clean rooms.
Handing over rooms upon arrival could be more efficient, taking into account that if a client arrives early, it is usually because they have been traveling very early.
Good breakfast although the replenishment when a product was finished”
“As a Coventry born visitor...I knew the history of the Wyken Inn...and I like it.The only thing I would recommend is more hooks for hanging 'things'..in the toilet shower room and possibly a drawer unit for clothes in the rooms...otherwise...

“Really clean, spacious and loads of plug sockets which was great. Kitchen was perfect for what we needed and car park out the back was very convenient. We walked to Coventry Arena close by, through the big Tesco round the back and found other shops too - incredibly handy would definitely go back. Met the owner and he was really nice, and asked if there was anything he could do - really lovely service. Easily 5*.”

The pub across the street was wonderful as well. Only nit is that the front made noise every time the wind blew. I suggest weatherstripping so it doesnt rattle. “This property surpassed expectations. The host met us on arrival, was very friendly and provided us with lots of recommendations for places for food.
The bed was extremely comfortable and bedding lovely!
The choice of food available for breakfast was amazing, I’ve never seen a continental breakfast set up like it.

“Handig hotel als doorreis locatie. Niet om vakantie te vieren. Omgeving is om 18:00 al dicht en alles op zondag. Beter eten voor goed vlees en meer bij Miller en Carter in Hinkley. Volk wat er woont is oud en rommelig. Omringende plaatsen zijn allemaal oud en goor. Het volk zit in crisis en hoop dronken mensen op pleinen. Wij waren er voor hoovercraft en kart ervaringen. Dat was geweldig. Voor de rest niet veel te doen.”

“It's a pretty setting and the room was clean. They seemd a little short staffed and, although the food was good, the tables were dirty and (bizarrely) the host told us the half empty restuarant was 'fully booked'. When we saw many empty tables, we asked the bar tender if it would be possible to order food and he was happy to oblige! Also, the lighting in our room was broken, the only way to have light was to keep the harsh overhead light on. The receptionist promised to send a service person but...
“Expectations should be tempered by the fact that this is a 300 y.o. building on a very busy road in the middle of town. Bearing that in mind the hotel is very clean and full of character which makes up for any of the above. They no longer do evening meals but the breakfasts are epic.”

“Sadly we stayed only for one night, the room was comfortable, clean and not much noise. Friendly staff and there is a bar- restaurant with plenty of choises, what we tried for dinner was good and breakfast was also nice.
Free parking and WiFi.”

"The hotel facilities are good. Bed is comfy, breakfast is nice. However I was attending a conference and had a parcel delivered 3 days in advance which was received by a staff member. When asking for it, they never found it. I was chasing the staff as i had to basically tell her how to proceed (contact the employee who signed up for the package and track it down, simple!). Not even the reception manager showed up to do something about it nor apologise for the situation.
At the end of the day, I didn't get my parcel which was worth more than £100 and I had breakfast on the first day but not on the second as I was leaving early. The second day breakfast was paid for but not the first day but they couldn't change one day for the other and they made me pay £20. You would expect at least having breakfast complimentary for this situation. Just an awful customer service in my opinion."
