“What a beautiful stay! So quaint and beautiful on the lake. The rooms are very roomy, beautiful bathrooms. The staff is lovely. Breakfast limited to only French toast or cereal but French toast was delicious! We came up for Binghamton graduation and everything was sold out in Binghamton. So happy we ended up staying here! “When I arrived at night I was told that my payment had been rejected (even though I hadn't received any notice of this) and that if I wanted a room I would have to pay $353 (the room rate quoted was 126€) in cash or with another card. Since I didn't want to be extorted I left and had to find another hotel in rural PA to spend the night. As a woman travelling alone this was not a pleasant experience and I believe hotels.com should remove this property from their listings for this unethical...
