This condo is the perfect location and proximity to the beach. I wanted to be able to see and hear the ocean and this property for the bill.

Beautiful Location, But Laundry Appliances Ruined Personal Items — No Accountability

The unit is in a great location with beautiful views of the beach and ocean. It was clean and stocked with everything I needed for a short stay in Destin.However, my experience was negatively impacted by a serious issue: the washer or dryer in the unit damaged multiple items of my personal clothing. I ran a standard load of laundry the night before check-out, and every single item in the load with straps—two Vuori sports bras, a Target sports bra, and a swimsuit—was snapped or sliced. These were the only “delicate” items in the load, and all were damaged in exactly the same way (photos attached).I contacted the management company immediately. They responded by stating there was “no evidence” the appliances caused the damage. But the reality is this: the items were in perfect condition when they went in, and they came out damaged. No sharp objects were in the load, and it’s beyond coincidence that only the strapped garments were affected. Some issue with the washer or dryer clearly caused this.What makes this even more frustrating is the double standard. Guests are required to pay a refundable security deposit to cover any damage to the unit—which I completely understand. But when the unit damages a guest’s belongings, there is no responsibility taken. If I had damaged something in the condo, I doubt I’d get my deposit back (which, at the time of this review, still hasn’t been returned—though I expect it will be, as I left the unit in perfect condition).

Great condo

The property was great! Right on the beach, fully stocked, and convenient to everything. The property managers are not very responsive on the app so make sure you call if you have any questions in advance. Once we got there, everything was great. One issue we had was that dogs are not allowed on the beach (it is a county rule). We wished that this had been listed on the property description before we booked.

Sandpiper Cove, Destin Florida

This has become our new “go to” when visiting Destin. The community has several pools located throughout the property and easy access to the beach. Our condo was on the beach with great views and better than advertised! The condo was clean and nicely decorated and layout was great.

The view was amazing. Upon arrival we went directly to the beach without checking the conditions of the room. After a long day at the beach with kids we went to shower and prepare for bed. That’s when we noticed a veterinarian amount of animal hair on couches pull out beds ,pillows,and sheets.my infant daughter is highly allergic to dogs and cats. She immediately started itching and wheezing. I contacted the property aswell as the third party booking agency vrbo, Expedia. No one was willing to help instead they ridiculed me and my family making us explained over and over and send pics. One lady asked would I bring some hair to the office.the air in the unit didn’t work and never got fixed my entire stay . After the terrible weekend the best thing they said they could do is refund a minimal cleaning fee off of a expensive vacation. Run away if you have an issue and your a person of color they will ridicule you.

Vrbo on the beach

View was fabulous. It is all about the view. From inside the condo to the outside deck with steps leading to the beach. We did not cook here so i am not sure how well the kitchen was stocked. House was clean and comfortable.

Baby’s first vacation

Couldn’t have asked for a better location, especially with a little one. Made it so much easier to pop back and forth to the beach and having the beach service was also a wonderful perk! Condo was in good condition and met our needs. We already want to come back!

Beautiful view

We had a beach view condo with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Sleeping at night with the doors open listening to the ocean waves and feeling the breeze was awesome. Little chilly in March but a wonderful time and the management here went above and beyond to help us (which was especially great since we had my 3 & 5 year old grandchildren with us who were “ready to be there”). We even extended our stay an extra day and that was seamless and easy. The condos are a bit dated but it looks like they are working on them to update them somewhat.

Getting away from snow:)

We loved our stay here. The amenities are more than adequate. We especially enjoyed being able to watch/see the Gulf and beach from our unit:) Our rental was very clean, and appreciated having a washer/dryer too. We will be back next year.

Great Location

Had a wonderful experience. Clean unit, very well appointed , decorated and spacious. great view of the ocean. Centrally located to groceries, shopping and restaurants. Pet friendly unit, as well! Loved the large porch facing the ocean. Only negative, was not in this unit, but the painters were working in the building adjacent to ours, so it was a bit noisy. Additionally, the unit above us was being renovated, so there was a lot of thumping and knocking. Not sure if they were installing new floors?? Anyway it would have been nice to know before booking this unit at this time.

Loved the location

This was a beautiful place to stay that wasn’t too crowded on the beach. Loved the layout of the condo and the big kitchen was awesome. The only drawback was the lack of comfortable seating and no table and chairs, just bar seating. There was one comfortable sofa but the chairs were not comfortable. Back porch had great chairs and tables that made up for the lack of seating inside. Master bathroom vent fan didn’t work but not a problem. Nice office workspace was handy and appreciated. Love this location and will stay here again!

Best Location!

This was a beautiful rental that was perfect. It had everything we needed, as it was advertised. I loved the fact that we could walk out onto the beach from basically the deck. I was able to sit on the beach all day and my kids were able to go back when they wanted to. I love it! I would recommend it to anyone! I hope to come back!

Good location. You can see the beach from the corner of the balcony. It will take you 1 minutes to be on the actual beach. The condo was great but the sheets were not changed. I always bring my own sheets and towels so I used those. Otherwise everything else was nice. Only wish there were screens on the back doors so you can leave them open at night.

Not thrilled

Arrived at property after dark. First time in Destin so was not familiar with area to get supplies. The only supply in the condo was toilet paper. No paper towel, no tissues, no coffee filters, etc. Check in process was quite cumbersome. On second day there we had 3-5 contractors on our front porch at a time. At one point our front door was blocked by a ladder. In order to get to the parking lot we had to go out the back slider, across a large sand area and around the building. Voiced my concern to the management company and they informed me they were made aware the evening before that they were starting on our unit. There were many other units that were vacant that still needed to be completed so they could have requested that they do another unit until we vacated two days later. They apologized and issued a 10% refund to us for our inconvenience but would have much rather had an enjoyable experience instead. Condo was clean. View was superb.

Perfect location with a good beach view!

I’ve how you can walk right off your balcony to the boardwalk and be on the beach immediately. Great view from the balcony, living area, and master bedroom. The condo had everything we needed. The two bathrooms and the separate vanity would be wonderful for a group that has several females. So thankful that this unit is pet friendly!! Will definitely try to book this unit again!

Great stay!

We loved our stay! It was perfect for what we were looking for and the beach is right out front! Beautiful! The beds were comfortable and lots of hot water for showers. The balcony is large with lots of seating and gorgeous views of the sunrise and sunset! Plenty of dishes and silverware for eating and drinking and anything else you need. Love it.

Great proximity to beach, access to beach was easy, deck was large. Condo was comfortable for four any more and I would rent larger space but for us it was perfect. Everything worked!
