“Such a beautiful river side hotel with a lovely little court yard as well as a bar, restaurant and coffee shop . Great choice of comfy seating either inside or on the out door terrace by the side of the river in a lovely setting with a view of the beautiful church which unfortunately wasnt open.We had breakfast and dinner which were excellent and reasonably priced too. “Especially clean, staff were nice and professional, thankfully they had two fans in the cupboard as the room we were in was sweltering but it was one of the hottest days of the year so far didn’t have breakfast but it looked liked a good spread (Continental). The restaurant was busy on check in which says a lot about the food which is supposed to be brilliant so will deffo try next time. Bed wasn’t the comfiest but all in all would recommend the hotel and would be happy to take the family back...

“The room was very nice it had a comfy bed hair drier fan kettle tea and coffee a microwave iron and ironing board the shower was ok and nice clean fluffy white towels as I was on my own I felt safe staying there the owner was very nice and friendly I've also stayed at the quayside hotel prefer this one over that ”

“Comfortable stay with a warm welcome. We took the dog so we had a welcome pack for her and the kitchen which we thought was a lovely touch. The food in the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Would stay again.”

“Absolutely awful… Stains all over the walls, stains all over the carpet.. Musty smell… It was so bad, we lasted 15 mins, we simply could not stay in that room on the top floor.. We handed the key to a staff member, left the building and rebooked at a hotel 20 metres away.. ”

“The property is very clean and well kept. You are given towels and you have full use of the kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. I'd like to recommend this to the owners of the property: Put a towel in the kitchen. You have to call them so they can give you a code to the key, it'd be so much convenient to maybe add a whatsapp option or even email as not everybody has a UK phone number and not everybody can communicate in English. ”
