“We’ve stayed at the Maids Head several times. It’s a great hotel, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is always great - lots of gluten free options. Gluten free toast is always provided. Choice of GF cereals, cooked breakfast was all clearly marked and our server was aware of which items were gf. Room was lovely and clean. There was a wedding there on our last stay, and the bar ran out of wine and the barman was not having a great time - he was clearly under pressure and not in the best mood. It...

“Lovely hotel, great food and friendly staff”

“Considering that it was a Best Western and that we've stayed in Best Westerns in different countries, this was the worst. It wasn't cheap, but nevertheless the stay did not include breakfast. It needed renovations. The shower did not work well, very low pressure and the water was either cold or hot. Wi fi was also pretty slow.”
