“The hotel was in a good location for getting to UEA for an open day and was easy to get to from Sheffield. The staff were friendly and helpful and the main area was clean and well decorated. The room smelled a little damp when we arrived though the smell faded quite quickly. We found a good wrapper down the side of the sofa bed which wasn't great but the bedding and towels all seemed clean. “The communication from the hotel was excellent, and accessing the room later in the day via the key box was no problem at all. The location is great—just a short walk to the beach and shops. The room was clean, though definitely a bit tired. The carpets were grubby, and the wallpaper could use some attention. Still, for the price, it was perfectly adequate. It’s unclear whether rooms are let on a longer-term basis, but it seemed that way. Sadly, our neighbour was audibly upset and sobbed...

“Every aspect from the staff, to the food, to the added extra of the outdoor pool were fantastic! The hotel is on a busy road, so we thought perhaps the noise would cause an issue but we couldn’t hear it from our room. It’s an absolute little gem and we will happily return.”
