“There is almost no where to stay in Gilmer, but this cabin was perfect. You can hear the road noise, but it’s really not horrible. We have family of 6, with kids between the ages of 1-14. Everyone had their own bed, and our older kids thought the loft was really cool. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The A/C works great. My kids enjoyed walking the property too. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family. ”

“Loved everything about this place. House was great - big enough for everyone with plenty of space. Pool table and games galore! Comfortable beds! Well stocked! Right on the lake with great views from almost anywhere in the house. we brought our boat and caught several fish! Mainly bass but also a catfish. The boathouse with the lift was a huge plus. Communication with the host was great! Check in and out was super easy. Would highly recommend!! - ”

“Cabin and “outhouse” were clean and comfortable. I took the main bedroom and my travel buddy took the living area bed, we did not try the loft nook. We grilled on the coal grill and had the firepit going each night. I toured the pond on one of the kayaks. The weather was gorgeous and we watched the egrets and herons fish and listened to distant sounds of cows, one donkey, birds and frogs. We were there for a local event just two miles from the cabin.
