“Exceptional stay, the best staff, room, food everything was wonderful thank you”

“Good location!”

“Great location and room had fab facilities.”

“The sea view was absolutely lovely, the bed was comfortable and the hotel itself has some really nice features. However, there are areas of the hotel that are looking quite tired and in need of some attention. Our room, for example, had a large section of plaster missing from the wall above the window. When you’re paying good money for a hotel stay, you expect the room to be maintained to a decent standard, and this really let it down. I also think the spa charges need to be made much clearer....

“Good well maintained serviced daily room. Comfortable large bed. Enjoyed the breakfast with all standard foods you would expect, but evening meal choices very limited so used similarly priced restaurant with better menu nearby. Nice balcony with sea view and it looks like almost all rooms have a sea view. Will I stay there again? It's my second visit and would be first choice should I go to Eastbourne again.”

“The hotel has clearly been neglected for a long while and has recently changed owners. While the room was clean, it was dark, devoid of personality or decor (but for a weird crypto-bro style painting) and worn down. The hot water was unreliable. I think they should have kept it shut while doing a full refurbishment, even if they missed high season because I suspect they sadly might not survive the reviews. On the flip-side, the location is great (maybe a bit dark on the lower-floor rooms), the...

“The hotel is quite frankly filthy . It doesnt look anything like the photos . The staff were lovely if a little bemused . There was a slight language barrier . The property is in disrepair and hasnt been cleaned for I dont know how long . There are no breakfast or bar facilities . Carpets are covered in a myriad of stains . Ranging from what looks like blood to possibly coffee . All in all avoid .I left after one night even though booked for 2”
