“Think of it as luxury camping and you'll be happy. If your idea of comfort is umbrella drinks by the pool, you will not. Personally, I loved it. But it's not for everyone.
This is a rustic cabin in the jungle. 4.5 miles off the main road, 2.2 miles of it is dirt (well maintained, regular cars not a problem). 15 minute drive to nearest civilization (the part of the description being in the middle of a historic town is inaccurate - it's 7 miles outside a historic town). “Beautiful setting, very abundant plant life. We enjoyed the coqui frogs serenading us at night. The native fruit grown on the property was a treat along with the homemade banana bread. Only issue was musty when first opened, cleared fairly well when ac was turned on. Dogs barking at times at night woke us up. Beautiful place, comfortable with everything you need. ”
