“We enjoyed a wonderful week in fine weather. We particularly liked touring off piste on pothole free quiet roads, taking in vast, scenic views. Coastal and glen walking were a treat, but you need to be fit. The IOM combines history, culture and friendly people with a noticeable, quirky sense of humour. A charming house in a lovely setting. “We had a fantastic time overall. The garden is large and stunning. The house is roomy and very comfortable. We were pleased to find there is a bath in the ensuite and a 3rd toilet downstairs as that wasn't clear from the listing. It would have been helpful to have instructions for appliances and remotes.There were also a few problems with one bedroom door hinge and the bedroom curtains were all difficult to open and close.”
